Hotel was very nice. Was very pleased to be able to check in earlier than advised. Location is superb. Only minor gripe was that the lighting in the room was somewhat dim.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Very clean room, super powerful shower and 5 minute walk from the central train station. Reception very kind and allowed me to check in 2 hours early free of charge. Close to cafes and bars too.
Yes, my bedroom was spotless and the staff were very helpful, polite, and yesssssss courteous.
My bedroom was really cold, the moment I reported to reception desk Ahmed 'immediately' got unto it and sorted it.
The breakfast was fine with good range of choices , the 2 ladies would go from table to table to ask anyone needed anything else.
Couldnt fault the hotel or staff, who where more than happy to allow an early check in for myself at no extra cost due to my early flight and last minute travel arrangements. The room was all i could ask for...modern, private, clean, quiet and spacious...just what i needed for my stay...special shout out to to the gent who sorted my early check in, he was a credit to the team
The only positive about this hotel
The staff were helpful and friendly
The rooms were clean and nice
The surrounding area was not safe
And the parking was very limited
Nice room, excelent crew, comfortable bed and shower. The localization of the hotel is not so great: very close to the central station, but prostituts and drug users on the streets around. In the description it says that he hotel has parking available, but it only has 2 spots.
Location is great. Just some seedy people that seem to sleep out front on the road.hotel was clean and quiet and comfortable. All the hotels/ streets near the station have drug dealers and users
I stayed here for one night unexpectedly after my travel itinerary changed. I had not planned on being in Frankfurt and I am happy I chose this hotel. When I checked in I was exhausted and realized I didn’t have the correct adaptor plug. The front desk guy from Syria helped me find one and offered to charge my phone while I unpacked and showered since everything was closed. They offered me water and coffee as well. The room wasn’t luxurious but was clean, had plenty of towels and great water pressure. The bed was also big and decently comfortable. The next day when checking out I had left my wallet at the front desk and walked to the train station only to have the lovely man from the front desk contact me on WhatsApp and walk it to the train station so I didn’t not have to walk back with my luggage. Overall I really recommend this hotel as it was priced well, clean, had amazing staff and was close to walk downtown and to the main train station that connects to the airport.

Disliked: Cleanliness
My room was on the lowest level, but I slept very well. It was quieter than I expected because it was close to the train station. The stairs to get to the checking in desk was too much with heavy bags and no one assisted. The staff was ok, not overly welcoming but not rude.
The place is great for its price
Shafi and murtaza were great i don’t know if i spelled their name correct and also the night shift guy..
Cleaning service was great..
They gave a room and AC wasn’t that great and they fixed the issue right away and gave me a better room.
Location is very good center of Frankfurt anything you need is near by food/malls etc
The only thing is a bit annoying outside the hotel are some homeless people who are blocking the walking way but other than that Its one of the great places in Frankfurt now and i come to Frankfurt every year
I would definitely come again
Thank you team Hotel Lumière
There could be more pillows on the room. Location is very central near Frankurt Hbf, but also close to many drug addicts and dealers. Staff was great though and allowed for an early check in and luggage storage. TV setup could also be improved. Overal,l good for single night stays if you really need something close to the Hbf.
The staff was pleasent over all. The problem with this hotel is we book the room for 3 people, and were taken back when we entered the room to find the toilet was behind closed door but the rest of the bathroom(sink and shower) is all glass so absolutely no privacy. It is ok if you are a couple but if you have someone else with you or kids it is unacceptable.
In our booking with them they k ew there was3 guests, but only received 2 sets of towels, 2 glasses and mugs, not very professional, then to make matters worse our private patio, has cigarette but on the floor, and table. If you are looking for a hotel, look some else.
The room was absolutely dirty. We stayed for one night and it looked like no one had cleaned there after the previous guest except for the sheets, they were alright. Other than that it was greasy and dusty and it smelled bad in the room. It was also noisy. The area didnt feel safe at all. It was cheap but I would rather pay more that go to this place again. I would not recommend staying in this hotel. The staff was friendly.
This place was very convenient for the couple of stays there on our trip. The room was pretty decent except for the fact that our bathroom has a clear glass wall which wasn't great seeing as I was on holiday with my daughter! The shower cubicle was more like a display cabinet. I went and sat in the lobby so that my daughter could have some privacy and vice versa. The second room we had at the end of the holiday was somewhat more private but still not a bathroom with a door. At least the toilet had a door in both rooms.
The receptionist did change our reservation to a twin room upon request which was great.
I've stayed in some rough areas of Queens (NYC) so I'm okay with things being a bit run down around a hotel. But I wouldn't recommend this place if you are a bit nervous, at night. There are lots of dope smoking homeless people around the station. But, if you're okay with that, I would recommend this hotel. The beds were comfortable and there was a kettle and fridge. The shampoo in the shower was empty, which I found out mid shower.
We would have had breafast, but 44 euros for the two of us per night was unacceptable. We found a great bakery next door which was great value and served nice breakfast and coffee.
Hotel located 3 blocks from Frankfurt Hbf. Area around main train station is the seedy redlight district, so be warned. Hotel staff are very pleasant + helpful. Breakfast buffet choice was basic, but served by friendly staff. Stayed there because it was close to Hbf + U-/S-Bahn lines.
