"The Wedding Cake House was a unique and beautiful place to stay. The room was clean and had lovely tile work around the mirror and in the shower.The dining room was elegant and you could choose to have a continental breakfast by filling out a form with your food choices. It was about a 5 to 10 minute drive to College Hill where we spent a lot of time visiting Brown University and RISD. I would absolutely stay here again if I find myself in Providence. "This was a lovely place, close to Rt9, but seemed so far away! Our suite on the top floor was very clean and comfy, though tall people might beware of the dormer roof in the bathroom. A great spread for the continental breakfast in the dining room. And there are lots of great restaurants within easy walking distance. Claudia is a great host, very helpful but not intrusive."

"It was a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. The owner personally serves her customers and makes them feel at home. My room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was family style; my scrambled eggs were delicious. However the breakfast cost was extra. Also, I didn't have a bathroom in my room, but using the shared bathroom wasn't a problem at all. The area around the hotel is all residential, but you can easily walk to restaurants, transportation, or enjoy the nature near the Boston Reservoir....
