Bifold doors from the kitchen/diner lead out to a walled courtyard that has an outdoor furniture set and from here, you can walk up to the roof terrace to unwind in the sunshine and enjoy those incredible sea and estuary views.

Fowey is a dream destination on Cornwall's south coast. Famed for its connection to Daphne du Maurier and its featuring in some of her best-known novels, this exceptionally pretty maritime town with its beautiful beaches and unique atmosphere is the perfect place for relaxing coastal breaks.

Excellent location

Large property over 4 floors. Lots of steps to the property and also inside. Upside down accommodation which gives you the best views. Good quality bedding and towels. Roof terrace. Ample kitchen appliances. Quiet location but within walking distance to loads of restaurants and nearby beach. Would recommend but not for people with disabilities or any walking problems due to the amount of stairs.

Spring in Fowey

Fowey is a beautiful Cornish Seaside Village and the property is in a great location with wonderful views. Comfortable rental but many steps to negotiate. The rear outdoor space needs some attention and the parking arrangements are a little awkward. However we enjoyed a lovely week with plenty of local walks and a nice choice of restaurants. Particularly enjoyed Appletons and North Street Kitchen. Kay, the ppProperty Manager was extremely helpful.

Excellent stay at La Folie

We love Fowey and being so central in La Folie was an added bonus. It's a 5 minute walk to the cafes, restaurants, bakery and coffee shops and of course the river. La Folie is a delightful house with the side door leading into the hallway, bright airy kitchen, fabulous underfloor heated bathroom with great shower and bath, main bedroom and then up the stairs to the beautiful living area with amazing views over the river to Polruan. There are two further bedrooms. Again an added bonus is the lovely slim balcony off the living area where even in November we took our hot drinks and pastries for a morning view over the river. It was a lovely place to spend our wedding anniversary.
