"When we arrived (yes, it was 2AM) the night clerk was "on break" and we couldn't check in until the shuttle driver finally found him and made him come back to the front desk. It took him 1/2 hour to find him, meanwhile w we were collapsing with exhaustion. Kudos to the driver. We think the clerk was stoned."

"Charming place. Room was small but so warm and cozy. I inadvertently booked an accessible room, so loved the fact that there was a chair in the shower to put my foot on while leg shaving. (Every hotel room in America should have at least a ledge of some kind for this!) Like most of the places we’ve been staying, the Internet was crap. But loved our stay here."

"Nice staff, clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed. Regular amenities in the room like coffee maker and fridge were fine. Parking not included - it's $30/day to park. Breakfast not included - it's $18.00 for the breakfast buffet. The rooms are not that cheap. It's located in an industrial zone so nowhere to walk. You will need a car or Uber. That said, I'd go back because it's clean and near the airport."

"Our family loved the Bates property!! It was immaculate, perfectly adorned, close to the beach/water and had everything you could need for a stay away--including spices, oils/butter, kitchen utensils, tons of bedding, and beach equipment (the beach is only a short walk away), The bedrooms were huge, and every room was cozy and comfortable for a large family or for just a quick getaway as a couple or a single person. The hosts went out of their way to make sure that our stay was easy and were quick to reach out and follow-up throughout our visit. We would definitely stay again!"
