I can't help but feel that the management here is more concerned with make as much money with as little upkeep as possible, rather than providing an enjoyable stay.
First: The good.
The yurt itself is great. Roomy, comfortable, NICE Heat/AC. Furnished well. It's all 10/10 as far as the yurt itself.
Now the un-good.
Everything else. The bath room is a small storage shed about 10 yards from the yurt. It has the absolute minimal plumbing required to call it a "Bathroom".
It does have an AC, for what that's worth.
Cooking... Oof the cooking.
No plates, no silverware or plasticware. No pans, no cookware at all, aside from two large grilling "forks" and a pair of cooking clippers.
They tell you AFTER you pay that you are welcome to "bring your own propane" for the propane grill. We had some left over from the last tenets. When we did get the grill working, it started SHOOTING FLAMES out from behind the dials!! It's a huge hazard. There's a charcoal grill, but you gotta share it with your neighbor (more on that tidbit in a minute), and there's a fire pit, but you gotta bring your own firewood.
We went with the intention to go swimming in the nearby lake. It is NOT swim friendly. It's sharp Rocks all the way, in the water and out, the outlet near the yurt is stagnent, and the only almost decent body is about a 15 minute hike from the yurt itself.
And finally we thought we would have privacy, the pictures were VERY misleading in this instance. There in a small cabin about 15 yards from the yurt. Heard their dogs barking the WHOLE trip. There is a business of some kind about a 5 minute walk, some kind of wedding venue I think. And there's some kind of stadium about 1/8 of a mile away. We got to listen to a 5th grade soccer game till about 10 pm.
It wasn't my worst stay. It really wasn't, but I do feel the management was deceptive in the advertising, I would post pictures if I had the option. Overpriced for few amenities, little privacy, and not even a 24hr stay.
Be wary.
