There were long hairs in the room, the towels appeared dirty as did the small soap that was in the bathroom. The machine that sold water was out of order. I booked this room for a family member and as inexperienced travelers, they didn't know what to do as it was late in evening. I called the motel the next day and they refused any type of compensation. Expedia was not much help in advocating for me.

I like that I always feel comfortable here. It’s quiet. The Motel Studio has a kitchen and a nice size bathroom. Very beautiful, very clean. This is always my top choice of places to stay. Rather it be the Motel, or the studio I always satisfied with the room and service during the day.

Awesome place

This place is really nice inside. I enjoyed one night stay and will be back. Eddie the night shift manager was nice and friendly. I will be back. I wish the towels looked cleaner. I have no complaints.

It's a very charming site and the location is great. Walking distance to lots of places. I like how quiet it is. The room is big and clean and I slept well, there was literally no noise at all. I would definitely visit this place again. The room didn't come with a little soap and shampoo like most hotels but it wasn't a problem bcuz CVS is very close by, less than a block away.

Always great good people very convenient location. Downtown Hollywood you can even use City of Hollywood transportation download the Circuit App only $1 to ride. A lot of the rooms are being updated

The check-in staff including Tyler always assists us and we now feel valued and respected. Thanks. Extra points if certain housekeeping staff members can tone it down a bit. And, newer towels would be a big plus!

I did not like the idea of having to provide ID for all guests. I had a visitor from another country and she did not walk with any ID. No other hotel I ever stayed at asked for ID for any other occupant of the room.

Not cleaned properly. Garbage was in the cabinets from previous guests. Saw roaches in the cabinets. The towels they provide are the worse I ever experienced at a hotel. There are so rough. I liked the set up of the hotel and the front desk employees were nice. The pool is the best part of the hotel. They really need to upgrade the appliances.

The plays was clean. Some of the staff were helpful and friendly, others were short and inconsiderate. We call the office to get the Wi-Fi password one afternoon and the guy in the office said the password once then hung up on my wife before she could make sure of what he said. I had to walk down to the office and get the password from him directly and he gave me a terrible attitude about it. However this was the only problem we had.

Worst ever

It was by far the worst experience I have ever had with Hotels. The clerk was rude. After seeing the room which was what was advertised at all I went and told them I wasn’t staying and they refused to refund my room rent which was close to $200. So walked into the room n back out and for 5 min was charged full price. It was shabby. Flat white sheet that was wrinkled as crap was over the couch. Shabby and run down.

Very quaint. The environment is extremely comfortable & I was very relaxed, I felt at home. If you are looking for a 5 star or upscale hotel, then you should go someplace else. It's very laid-back. It's a 2 story motel with all the necessities, including a fully functional kitchen. No issues to complain about. It serves its purpose. I slept comfortable, I felt safe, there are working cameras, the grounds is well kept. Housekeeping is available and the staff were helpful, polite and friendly. Most of the guests I saw were older and coupled up. Parking was not an issue either. Water pressure was great. They also have a smoking area, along with plenty of space to sit, relax and enjoy your stay. It's also very convenient to everything. Public transportation to airport is right in front of building. If you have a car that's even better, it's about a 10 minute drive to Walmart, Boardwalk and Beach. Not too far from downtown. It's in a very quite neighborhood. 10pm noise control, which I love. There is also a good truck on site. I will definitely return to Richard's next time I am in Hollywood. I recommend this place for both long-term and short-term stays.

I spent 2 nights at this property . I booked it on Orbitz and when I got to the check in desk ( you actually talk to the front desk person through a window) I was told that I had to pay $50 cash ( you can not pay with a card , it has to be cash) as a deposit . I was not informed or aware about this cash deposit when I booked it. No big deal , I payed it .Also they say that you can not have guests or visitors so nobody can come visit you in your room while you stay there . Then I was told that my room was actually at a different location , about 3 blocks from there. The room was not in the best condition as you can imagine, bed sheets looked like they were 10 years old , the gas cooking range was not working at all , refrigerator had some pretty visible dirty stains on it, the wooden desk was ancient, badly faded and very sticky. The bathroom only had some small hand and face towels ( no big towels) . My room was on the corner , very noisy ,I could hear every car passing by on the street . I know the area very well because I used to live there for many years and I knew the motels in that area are not in good shape so it wasn't a big surprise for me . Yes, you can sleep there if you ain't got other options but don't have big expectations.

I checked in late night to this place and found that Steve and Mark were pleasant. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for the Rooms. THIS IS NOT A HOTEL! A MOTEL or maybe, a Truck Stop with a Garden! I was offered the Room next door for the Disabled The Door Handle is practically falling apart jingling in free-play as I opened it. The Room smells, old, musty, reaks of Urine & Animal. The Air was almost suffocating. When I got to the Room which was ultimately assigned, although you could see Areas, not just Spots, on the Floor looked damaged, the Lighting was poor so the level of dirt & filthiness was not readily visible until daybreak. Meanwhile, the Bed was slept in on the left side and the Pillows smelled like somebody’s Perfume. I just closed back the Bed & rested on Top using the other Two Pillows from the Closet. Had to open the Bathroom window to ventilate the Place. In the Morning my Heart sank to see the Tub was guy-wrenching filthy. Turn the Water on and a lot of Black Substance/Debris/Materials started to accumulate in the Tub forming a Ting as the Water collected and drained away. Couldn’t bathe there. Sink dirty. The Floors had dirty Footprints and Sand from Bed to Bathroom; The Desk, Refrigerator Door, & Shelf dirty. Hair about the Place. I reported to Mark that my Room was filthy and ask them to go check it out. He apologized profusely & said the next time I stay with them, they will make it up to me. No Sir! Poor upkeep!
