I love staying at Costa. It's very convenient to everything. I don't like the new pool security guidelines though. If I'm paying $20 for a drink in a plastic cup, I don't understand why you can't sit on the side of the pool with the drink. I can see not getting in the pool but the side of the pool should be fine.

I initially liked the look of the hotel and spacious room. Parking was $40 per night. I had no wash cloths in my bathroom, asked for them the next day( had to go to lobby because no one answered the phone). Someone entered a request in a hand held device and apologized. The wash cloths never came. Had to call the hotel number from my cell phone the next day- still no answer when calling from room phone. I received the wash cloths to at least take a proper shower before checking out. Valet personnel also did not ever answer the phone when calling from the room for entire stay. I always had to go down to their room outside. They were very fast at retrieving the vehicle though. Could be a really nice place- just need better service.

Costa Hollywood Beach Resort has big, clean rooms and is very close to the boardwalk and beach (3 mins walk.). Many food options close by - Aventura Commons and Mall are about a 15 mins car ride away. Worth the trek to if you want to shop at Target or Whole Foods since there is a kitchen. Highly recommend!
