Once upon a time the sand was coated in brightly colored bits of sea glass, and social media is full of photos that make it look as if the sand still looks that way, but that isn't the case. Over the years the public has raided the beach of much of its glass. Now at first look, some might say it looks like any other ordinary beach. Our room was so clean and the beds were super comfortable. Our room had a great view of the beach, and we got a great amount of light in the morning. The staff made the check in/out process so quick and easy. The building may appear older but the rooms were newer inside and super clean.

The driveway with the lights up the mountain were beautiful and welcoming after a long drive in the car. The beds were the best hotel beds I have ever had. Good breakfast and extremely friendly staff.

Staff friendly and attentive, but the place is in dire need of a remodel. Rust, dust, chips and rips obvious on the furniture and appliances but no mold. No pests other than our neighbors “gardening” late into the night despite the hotel’s no smoking policy.
