The property dates back to 1380 and the rooms are decorated with choicest artifacts that adds greatly to the experience. The location is fantastic too with the local market and restaurants in easy walking reach. The breakfast service is fabulous with many choices and Lorenzo himself is great chef as well! "I liked this swanky hotel. The staff were wonderful. Breakfast was delicious and satisfying. The laundry facilities were greatly appreciated, particularly after getting caught in a heavy downpour. The tour meeting location was a convenient 10 minute walk. The T2 tram to the Santa Maria Novella train station was literally in front of the entrance and only 2 stops away. I preferred the cost of the tram to the €19 taxi ride to get to the hotel. The location was perfect for my needs. I would return if I visit Firenze again."
