You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Vintage Cabin with enclosed yard, well stocked Kitchen, Spa and Huge Sunny Deck.

Located along the Russian River between Guerneville and Healdsberg, this home will allow you to get away from it all while being close to all the things you want to do. Walking distance to Mother's Beach. Just about two miles from the nearest wineries and a short drive to Healdsberg or Guerneville.

With two bedrooms and two baths the home is ideal for two couples but will sleep 6 comfortably, 4 in two queen sized beds and 2 on a fold out air mattress sofa or 2 in a daybed with trundle located in the master (best for kids). We are limited by the county to 6 guest.

There is a gourmet kitchen with electric appliances including a dishwasher that is well stocked enough you can cook Thanksgiving dinner.

We have a 6 person hot tub on the deck under the redwoods and stars at night.

Internet/Wifi is strong and was clocked at 258Mbs with Mesh Router that reaches the far ends of the deck.

When reserving the property, please let me know something about your group and why you are visiting the area.

Please note there is a small owners unit on site below the house you are staying in and it is occupied at the will of the owner, has a completely separate entrance and will not intrude upon your experience or privacy above. Also there is no central air conditioning but nights are usually cool and we do provide fans. We do have a Nest Cam that covers the parking area

In the event that due to circumstances beyond either of our controls (fire/pandemic/etc.) and we are not able to host you due to county or state orders, we will fully refund your stay per the VRBO agreement if you are inside the cancellation window. If it is too close to your stay, we will refund the cleaning fee and 1/2 of your stay. We will hold the other half as a credit towards a future stay of your choice when the home is available.

We loved this property. The location amongst the redwoods, was beautiful! The property was so well thought out, from the firepit to the hammock, the house contained everything one could possibly need. The beds were very comfortable and the proximity to the vineyards was great!

Unique home with hot tub nestled in redwoods

We enjoyed our stay. Kitchen was well stocked The living area with fireplace was comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub, and the home is conveniently located close to many wineries. Host was easy to communicate with.

Great home in the trees!

This place is the perfect, cute little spot for a weekend along the river. Mother’s beach is just a short drive or longish walk. Guerneville is an easy drive. We loved cooking and eating dinner out on the deck! Will definitely book again.

Perfect Cabin!

We loved our stay, almost felt like a treehouse! The property had everything we would need and a fully stocked kitchen. The indoor fireplace was very cozy to sit by and we could not stop appreciating the trees and surrounding greenery. Will definitely come back if we're in the area!

Excellent location, great poperty

We had a wonderful stay at this house in the Redwoods. Great communication from the owners. The location is perfect to explore areas in the Russian River area. We loved the awesome deck and hot tub. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. The beds were comfy and there were plenty of blankets. Overall we really enjoyed staying here.

Relaxing Getaway

Quiet cabin centrally located in a forested area in the beautiful Sonoma wine country. Minor issue with the hot tub but the owner responded quickly to help address the problem. This cabin was the most well stocked home we have ever experienced. Recommend this home to anyone considering a stay in the area.

Forestville stay March 2025

My wife & I came to Forestville to visit her sister (obviously my Sister-in-Law), her husband & their menagerie of playful pets. We found this beautiful location about one mile from their place, great find. It also happened to overlap w/ our 23rd wedding anniversary & the owners were gracious enough to leave us a bottle of local bubbly in the fridge for us to toast & enjoy. Great home, super cozy & a beautiful location. Going forward we are going to base our trips to visit Forestville based on the availability of this home. Thank you for a great experience, we will be back.

Hidden gem

My family and I had a lovely stay and would definitely be coming back! The house was clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the outdoor deck among the redwood trees. We ran into an unexpected problem with the electricity from the weather, and Bhrett was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend this hidden gem among the redwood trees!

Peaceful Stay

Such a lovely cabin nestled in the redwoods. My husband and I and his brother and wife loved our peaceful stay here over the weekend. The communication with the owner was the best experience that i have ever had with a rental. So kind and very prompt to reply. I appreciate that so much. Would love to come back again. Location is great for visiting great wineries and restaurants in the area.

Excellent Family Weekend in Forestville

The cabin is just lovely, charming and comfortable. We have 3 dogs in our family, who were as happy as we were. Blankets and towels were left for them, so the furniture stayed clean. The kitchen is well stocked, had we wanted to cook. There were many outstanding restaurants in the for meals; with a mix from fun and cheap to fancy but pricey. Great options for hiking. We were all very glad to be there.

Fantastic retreat!

This was a fabulous getaway spot. Lush greenery and quiet. The redwoods growing right through the outdoor deck beside the hottub were gorgeous. The gas fireplace kept us warm and cozy with plenty of throw blankets to cuddle up in. And we made great use of the kitchen - whipped up a chocoate cake, some curries, and baked chicken. It was a wonderful relaxing way for my sons and I to ring in the new year! Thank you for the wine and for being such a gracious host!

Beautiful spot in the redwoods

Brett's place was a beautiful home base for a weekend with my partner, my dad, and his wife. Perfect size for two couples. Favorite aspects: Awesome deck with hot tub, grill, comfy chairs, and huge redwoods. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms clean and updated. Overall setting is chill and relaxed. Only a few minute walk up the hill from the river, and an easy drive to Sonoma wineries. Overall, exactly as described in the listing. Would happily return for a future trip!

The perfect relaxing getaway

This place is stunning! It is nestled right in the redwoods in a sleepy little town away from bustling tourists. The pictures don't do this place justice! It also happens to the the most well-stocked VRBO I have ever stayed in. Everything was high quality and there was every kitchen utensil & gadget you could ever ask for. If you stay here, make sure to turn off all the house lights and sit in the hot tub at night. It was magical stargazing through the canopy of redwoods without any nearby light pollution. The beds were the comfiest I have ever slept in, and reading by the fireplace was the most perfect experience for some of the rainy days we had during our visit. I cannot possibly overstate my recommendation of this place!

Fabulous Cabin Away From It All!

This cabin was a dream come true for our family vacation! We enjoyed 5 days of serene beauty, both during a crazy rain storm, and during beautiful blue skies and sunshine. Everything was exactly as described and better! The only thing we had to learn the hard way to turn on the convection for the oven - without convection turned on, it didn't maintain the appropriate temp. Once we turned on convection it was fine. The views were amazing and the wet soil, redwoods and pines gave an aroma I wish we could bottle. We felt a million miles away from it all, but were only 2 1/2 hours from home. Thank you, Brett, for an amazing week of family memories!

Felt like home - 5 stars

We spent Christmas with our daughter and her boy friend. This house was perfect for us. The house has been well loved, had everything we needed, and really grew (well) on us. You can tell the owners know how to take care of a house and how to have fun. The location was perfect for wine tasting and amazing hiking. The house is located up a mountain side and the neighborhood is strewn with cars and garbage cans all out on the street which is a little beat up. We arrived after dark and were a bit skeptical but in the light of day, it was only because the terrain is so vertical. The houses in the neighborhood are all well taken care of and it was very quiet, sitting in the hot tub, looking up at the redwoods, drinking fabulous wines, and getting to know a great young couple. Would come back in a minute.

Redwood Fix

Brief stay beautiful home away from home! Redwoods all around with a glorious deck. We enjoyed meals out on the deck dappled sunlight amidst the tall trees. Kitchen is definitely well stocked. All amenities any visor needs to make meal fancy or simple. Comfortable beds and very modern bathrooms. Redwood Retreat was exactly what I was looking for in a family getaway.Great gated yard, beautiful deck with a multitude of seating options. Redwoods growing through the deck, a beautiful mural surrounding the hot tub. It was just charming.The owners have thought of everything and it’s incredibly well laid out for a vacation rental. Beautiful kitchen that has most everything you’ll need, toaster/counter top oven in addition to a nice range. Coffee maker, hot water kettle. Nice refrigerator with ice maker! Beautiful views and the light in the place is great.Incredibly comfortable beds, nice size bathrooms. Another deck on the backside between the bedrooms.Cable tv, wifi and a great electric started gas fireplace. Games, brochures for area attractions, close to the beach actually with just a short walk.Brett was easy to communicate with and we would come back again for sure.
