"A short winter visit. Chose a small room, which was basic but more than suitable for our needs, no issues with cleanliness. Room got cleaned everyday. Shower worked well, no issues with hot water. AirCon available but didn't use. Radiators could be turned off, room would be hot with them left on, we had no issues with temperature. TV with remote in the room. You could hear other rooms but everything seemed to go silent around 10pm. Found the owners & staff friendly, the hotel felt like a home...

"Beautiful view from front terrace of hillside area and castle. Very nice and friendly staff. Rooms are clean and spacious and hotel restaurant serves delicious meal at very reasonable prices. Original plan was an overnight stopover en route but we extended our stay to 3 days. Highly recommended."

"A great location for access to the racing circuit, comfortable bed and good food. Some of the décor is looking tired in the rooms and the walls are thin so you can hear speech and movement from neighbouring rooms. interesting that ear plugs are supplied in each room! However I would stay here again for the convenience and access to the circuit and restaurant which is small, friendly and serves good food."
