Nice places if you get a floor 01 room, really cool historic building everything is well kept. Breakfast was spot on had dinner one evening and that was great too.

A beautiful hotel. Very attentive staff. Our room was lovely and quiet with a bathroom that fits my partner (6 feet tall- most showers here are too small!) Our terrace was nice but we could not use it due to our neighbors who smoked at all hours of the night and day. Parma had the most smoking of any city we visited so I would not book a terrace if you are not also a smoker. The hotel is truly a city hotel so the gym and garden are both small though well kept. We walked to all corners of the city without issue from here. Also had plenty of parking. Did not try the breakfast as it was 15 euro each. We got breakfast from a local cafe for 10 euro total for two people (2 coffees each and 1 sandwich and 3-4 pastries).

Large room and bathroom. Breakfast included was good. Front desk staff could have provided a better welcome and explanation of amenities like breakfast etc. Also, not very helpful with dinner recommendations. Overall the hotel was good for the price and walkable to city center.

Five Star Treatment

What an unexpected find! This hotel gives you the 5-star treatment. The decor and rooms are gorgeous and the food was wonderful (dinner and breakfast). But the best part was the helpful staff. So kind and accommodating. They made the stay feel like home. The hotel was within walking distance of Parma for me (the hotel arranged a taxi when my partner went). The grounds were nice but I would have liked to have seen a little more care and flowers, though we may have been out of season.

Very nice hotel. Perfect location for visiting Parma. Lovely, spacious room, comfortable bed, well appointed bathroom. Staff very courteous and helpful. Parking easy and plentiful. Good breakfast, only thing I didn’t like :cappuccino was lukewarm.

Personally I would avoid this hotel if traveling italy. Room was dark with only one small roof light. Not like the pictures of the room we booked. We asked to move to any other room but was told as we had already entered it would need to be cleaned so they they refused even though we hadnt put anything down Breakfast was ok when we eventually got our menu 45mins after sitting down but as it was a buffet type we didnt need it in the end. We ended up leaving after the first night as it was that disappointing. Staff were rude and didnt even ask when we checked out early if everything was ok. We left quietly in a bit of shock. Far from 5 star service. Tired hotel.

It is a beautiful hotel. Our only issue was with the fact that our room was located on the main floor beside the entrance. The high ceilings and the echo noise from the lobby area was quite noisy. In addition at this time of year they do not have air conditioned so to get fresh air we had to open these beautiful windows facing the front of the hotel. We had to smell the cars engine from cars parked right under our room window. We also had to smell the smoke from the smokers being out for a smoke and chatting with other smokers near the front door and under our bedroom window which was unfortunate. As a result we had to keep our bedroom window closed. I really think that they should not rent these rooms close to the lobby area and use them for storage or move the parking area at a fair distance from people's bedroom windows. Besides the issue above we have no complaint. Ricardo the server at their restaurant was fantastic. LD & DC

The overall state of the property was great! the rooms amazing, the bathrooms with large showers and counters amazing. The breakfast was exceptional " in house baked bread" full cheese and prosciutto selection mimosas and pastries were fantastic and fresh.

My favorite hotel the whole stay in Italy, beautiful, great location to the city center, wonderful staff and super cozy robes. The only thing was it didn’t get very cool in the rooms compared to other hotels we stayed in. But regardless I would still highly recommend!
