"Everything was excellent and we had a wonderful stay! The only thing I didn’t love was that our igloo didn’t have a private toilet or bathroom, and the shared facilities were about 100 metres away. I didn’t feel comfortable walking there alone in the middle of the night, so I waited until morning. If you’re particular about having easy access to a bathroom, I definitely recommend booking an igloo with a private toilet and bathroom. Otherwise, everything was great!"

"We had a room with a fold out couch. I had communicated with them prior asking if one of us could sleep on the couch. When we got there, they had it made up as a bed. The bedroom has almost no room for a suitcase. I had to put my carry on suitcase in the hall. No one told us at checking that we had to make a reservation for breakfast, so we went into town. There were 2 hot tubs available, but we didn’t use them."

"Rented 3 rooms for 6 people. The rooms were comfortable and well outfitted. Not super fond of the quarter-circle doors in the shower but they worked. The breakfast and breakfast staff were excellent, as were the desk and bar staff. Really friendly people. Lovely place"

"This was a cute restful place to stay. The room was immaculate and really comfortable beds, powerful hot shower. The breakfast served in the little chalet was delicious. We were in Iceland for the midnight sun so it was nice to have black blinds that were truly black out. The tomato farm restaurant next door was also an incredible unexpected delight! Booked this place for location but would love to go back."

"My wife and I spent our first night in Iceland at Hotel Gulfoss and could not have been happier with our choice. The location is perfect for visiting the attractions on the Golden Circle furthest from Reykjavik. Our room was large, clean, and well-appointed. The king bed was comfortable and had twin duvets, so there was no arguing over how much cover each of us needed. We enjoyed a delicious lamb dinner in the dining room with views of the spectacular landscape. The bar had a good wine and liquor selection. There is plenty of free parking. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great accommodations for one night or several."
