Clean room, quiet countryside location, thermal tub in the backyard. Be aware, you will be sharing bathroom with 4-5 other rooms.

Check-in at this family home was easy and quick. The rooms had everything you needed. The house is in a beautiful country setting. We could hear the cows moo-ing as we said hello to the local ponies and then settled into the outdoor hot tub. Would highly recommend.

The guesthouse was a highlight of our stopover in Iceland. Great space and facilities with the most amazing host. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay there again some day. A perfect stop for an extended trip on the Golden Circle!

we stayed for 1 night in this beautiful property. it was so peaceful and serene. our room had a balcony and we were able to sit, watch the sun set, and take in the vastness of icelandic skies. there was self serve juice and hot cocoas available, which was very much appreciated after a long day of hiking and driving.

Nice and quiet

I enjoyed my stay here. Peace and quiet with a good kitchen/dining space to make your own meals. The room was a bit small for two but doable one night. It was a bit further out of town than I expected as Google maps for some reason puts it literally in town at a completely different property so be careful to go to the right place!

Cute farmhouse, guesthouse is separate from owners home, full kitchen, equiped with everything even spices (i didn't know this). Grocery store about 6 min away. Bedrooms are in upper level, all have locks, stairs are very steep, not good for older people (scary coming down), 1 bathroom for 9 people located on main level. I probably wouldn't choose this type of stay again but it was very affordable and it was for 1 night. Good location.
