My stay at starhotels in Florence was lovely. The room was clean and esthetic, the staff was helpful and the food was delicious. They restaurant staff made me a perfect bowl of pasta when I arrived almost at closing time- and the breakfast buffet was amazing. Convenient to the airport and not far from downtown.

The lady chef who was there in the mornings and the one evening we had dinner was how professional staff should be even when they are constantly rushed off their feet. Breakfast was always busy but there was a decent selection of food available. The bedroom was satisfactory. One of the bathroom towels was frayed in one corner and there were holes behind the shower fitting and shower/bath/on/off/ dial. Bed was comfortable and the choice of pillows was a nice touch.

Have I been to worse? Absolutely. Have I been to better? Yes. What was good? The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was great, the communal areas were very nice, the rooms were decorated nicely, it was very close to the train. What was not the best? The location feels a little out of the way and not the nicest, you do have to take the train everywhere, the rooms weren’t necessarily dirty but kind of were (think smudges), it smelled like smoke, the rooms were a little dated, the shower was….interesting. Overall, it was a fine and average experience. Nothing great, nothing terrible.

What’s not to love about this property? It’s close to the tram and a supermarket that stays open late at night. And it has its own restaurant and good breakfast in the morning. The furniture, entire room is luxurious, clean and in excellent form. Would stay anytime I go to Florence.

Grocery store adjacent, which was very convenient. The tramway stop is directly outside, which was also very convenient. There is a park (dogs and people) perfect for walking across the street. Helpful staff!

Nice hotel with big clean rooms. Slightly older style of rooms but very nice. Location is safe and convenient. Easy tram ride between hotel and city center, train station Plenty of shopping and cafes nearby. Big mall 10 mins walk. Enjoyed our stay here

We stayed for 2 nights and room was very nice & comfortable with modern amenities. The reception staff were all helpful with every inquiry that we made. It would have been great if they have a pool, the breakfast area set in a more lit place - where it is make you go back to bed (it’s dark)… Location is out of the centre but it compensates it with a tram located almost right in front of the hotel and you only pay $1.50 Euro. Would we stay again? Definitely!!

Excellent spot to stay. Directly on tram line between airport and SMN rail station. Out of the old town crowds. Staff was extremely high quality service minded. Facility was spotless. Breakfast wonderful.

We loved staying here. Our room was beautiful, the staff were friendly and helpful. Nothing was too difficult for them. The tram was directly out the front, which took us right in to the food market and other markets. We had a fabulous stay here. Would highly recommend.

Clean the room and bathroom, close the tram to the downtown of Firenze(it takes about 15 minutes) and there is a supermarket. If you take your car, I would like to recommend.

Great property for a very fair price. Comfortable rooms and cosy environment in the common areas. It is located a bit far from Florence City Center, (around 20 minute drive) but we chose the hotel because it has parking included. However, it is not guaranteed and the first night we couldn’t park the car on the hotel premises. There is a parking garage nearby and you can also park in the permitted areas on the street, so it was not an inconvenience

I did not like the surprise added fee for having a 2nd person in the room. Although we were located on the 9th floor, you could hear alarms and sirens going off all night. the air conditioner was very ineffective. It did not cool down the room. I was supposed to receive a bottle of wine. I had to go back to the front desk to request it instead of giving it to me upon check in. The front desk clerks were not very helpful even after explaining this was our first time in Florence. They were not very helpful and didn't offer any suggestions on things to do or see or where we could eat lunch or dinner. These people weren't very friendly at all. We did not feel welcome or comfortable in this hotel. I don't think I will return to this hotel nor will I recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

Ok for a 4 star hotel
I was pretty happy with the hotel. The access to the historic center is very good, they have free parking, and overall the hotel is fine. That being said I expected a bit more for the price and 4 stars. It’s very dated and the breakfast is only ok. The beds were a bit too soft for me. As I said before it’s very convenient with a car otherwise I would stay more centrally for the money and trade up for a real 4 star hotel.

Not very close to the airport!
We arrived tired and ready to check in late afternoon. We were told that we would have to park our car at that location and they would move us to a "luxury" accommodation closer to central Firenze. Unfortunately we had a very early morning flight AND we had a friend who was also flying out with us in another hotel close by. The desk Clerk insisted that we had to move location, shuttled by complimentary cab, and we had to leave our rental car there, This was UNACEPTABLE and finally we were given a room at the location where we thought we were booking. Then, the air-condition didn't work so we called the front desk. They sent someone up who said we just needed "to wait more time". Then they called later (about 9 pm) and said that the AC was fixed. But it wasn't and we were very uncomfortable all night. We would not recommend this to anyone.

Location is terrific. Short easy tram ride into Florence Centro and to the airport. Room was clean and despite busy location, the room was very quiet.

This hotel suited our needs perfectly. The sheets were crisp, beds comfortable and water is HOT! Also, convenient to a large grocery store and light rail which takes one to the city center in about 15 minutes.

Great location. I chose this hotel to catch my early flight to Munich. It was perfect. I preferred a taxi to access the airport but there is an option to the train just in front of the hotel. I arrived late and was happy to be able to have dinner in this hotel. Unfortunately they charged me for the soup I returned because it was too salty. Otherwise I would have given a better grade to this hotel.
