Bach 1 - Loburn Bach Accommodation, in the Lake Ferry Village

Our property has 2 separate Bach's:
Bach 1 - has a separate master bedroom (queen bed) and an open plan lounge with a double sofa bed and full kitchen.
Bach 2 - is our studio unit with a queen bed in the lounge as well as a double sofa bed and full kitchen (open plan)

We are a dog friendly accommodation - ($20per day for your pooch's stay) please add this to your initial booking so we are aware that you are bringing your furry friend.

Other points to note:
(1) Internet coverage in the Bach's is limited due to the location of the tower across the Lake and the trees on our Property, there is coverage in the reserve next door.
(2) One.nz (ex Vodafone) - there is next to zero coverage in the whole village.

Both Bach's are situated in a lovely quiet garden surround and next to a large green grass Reserve. The Reserve leads straight onto the Lake.

The Lake Ferry Hotel and beach are less than a 10 minutes walk away in the Lake Ferry Village.

The Pirinoa Store and Land Girl Cafe are a 6 minute drive before the Lake Ferry Village

Tourist attractions include: Ngawi Village, Palliser Bay Lighthouse, the Putangirua Pinnacles and Martinborough - all within a 20 minute drive.

Doggie Rules - Strictly no dogs on the furniture, all dogs must be well managed out of respect for other guests. If you have not paid for your pooch in advance you will be asked on arrival for the cost of their stay.

Excellent weekend get away

The property was welcoming, clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend away. A 10 minute walk to the Lake Ferry Hotel to watch the amazing sunset.

We had a lovely stay at the Bach. Long relaxing walks to the beach for sunsets. Beautiful drive to seals, light house and pinnacles hiking.

Lovely classy private spot handy to great things

We stayed as a couple plus single and a dog, and highly recommend. Would definitely stay again! Lake Onoke, the hotel (F&C!), and great walking all enjoyed. Plus, the Land Girl café is an easy run for those who like that sort of thing (took me 40min from the bach)

From the moment we arrived we were made welcome. The hosts Andy and Leanne made sure that we had everything we needed. The accommodation was excellent for our needs and it was nice to be able to travel with our dog Tia. It was very quiet and peaceful.

Rugged coast

Hade a great sleep, room for ute, dog friendly, enjoyed hosts local knowledge re seal colony, Cape Palliser lighthouse; and East/West Road and gates so we came home via West side of Lake Wairarapa, and enjoyed the greenery on the way. Also enjoyed a meal at the Lake Ferry pub whilst at Lake Ferry, also dog friendly and able to get some sunshine.

Loburn : Lake Ferry

The apartment at Loburn Lake Ferry is furnished to a high standard and has all of the essential amenities for a holiday break. The accommodation is very comfortable and has internet connection and good off-road parking. It is also close to the main sand spit which is an ideal location for shore fishing. For anyone exploring this area of the North Island then this makes for a perfect base.

Lea and Andy have really thought about all the comforts one might need in this bach. Fully equipped with everything you need and more. Loved that there were extra heating appliances and pillows. Great location.
