Host was there to greet us for arrival. Gave us some great spots to check out. Very easy to find / check-in to. Allowed us to check out a few minutes late and store our bags which was a huge plus. Awesome area as the neighborhood has amazing dining options. Everything is walkable from there too.

We had a wonderful family trip (with 2 teenagers) to Florence and enjoyed staying at Santo Spirito Venti. Our room was spacious, clean and we gad attentive service. This neighborhood is across the Arno River from the Florence City Center, but short walk to the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio and Uffizi Museum. Thiis oltrarno neighborhood was less crowded and quieter than the historic center. Our host Leonardo was very helpful with recommendations for restaurants, gelato and arranged our early morning taxi ride to the airport.

The area is in close proximity to the local restaurants. You can cross the bridge and reach Sta Maria Novella in 15 mins. The place was clean and spacious and had an elevator.

Great location, just across the bridge from the center of the town. Clean place, communicative host. Took some time to find the place as house numbering was confusing. Cold water in the main hall was a bonus!

The hotel is beautiful, clean, decor is nice, and the rooms are great. High ceilings, modern, with a light and airy feel. Generous toiletries and the soap scent is pleasant but not too strong (which is important). A very nice check-in experience by Adam, he was gave us recommendations on places to eat and was very courteous. Very comfortable to stay here.

The Santo Spirito Venti is in a great location if you want to be close to the Piazza Santa Maria Novella area but want to avoid the noise and crowdedness. It is near a lot of good restaurants. The room was clean and there were enough room for my three kids and me. No complaints but some things of note. Like many old buildings it is hard to regulate the temperature. It was still mild outside (in the 50s F). My kids and I found it really hot in the room. I keep my home at 67 F even when it is 20-30 degrees outside. There is an elevator but it is really small and can hold maybe 2 petite people and one small carry on. Just a note for those who are use to hotels or B&Bs in the States, to bring some shampoo and conditioner (there is body wash provided), and the toilet paper is much smaller so you may want to make sure there is enough spare rolls ( I think it's because the bidet is used in lieu of toilet paper).

Great, lively area of popular bars and restaurants very walkable to major Florence sights on both sides of the river. Room is small but efficient and comfortable. I do miss that it is not a full-service hotel. The host, Leonardo is very nice and had some great restaurant recommendations, but he is not normally present. In order to check in, first you must arrange by phone/text to meet you on the street to let you in and finish the process. I recommend it for travelers used to travel light and who don’t require traditional hotel services, but not for everyone.

While a nice room, the hotel owners were only there for a very short time each day, the place runs itself- sort of. Instead you had to use a code to the front door, another for that elevator and another for the Hotel front door which was up many flights of stairs. A little bit of a hassle. But the bigger hassle was no help getting a taxi back to the train station, which is no easy feet, no ability to store luggage unless you want it out in the open, that sort of thing. Small thing but with parents and kids, can be big. Breakfast was decent, but at a cafe a few blocks away. Hotelier not very concerned .

Exactly what we were looking for!

The apartment is quiet, but still close to the attractions that we were visiting. We are a family of four (children 11 & 17) and we were within walking distance to Santa Maria Del Fiore, Boboli Gardens, Palazza Vecchio, Piazzale Michelangelo (for sunset), Lots of Shops, Bars & Restaurants and the train-station (15 mins with little feet in 37 degree heat!). We had everything we needed for a 3 night stay and Leonardo was helpful and always at the end of the phone if we needed anything. The apartment was clean and had a kettle, small fridge, AC, hairdryer, complimentary bodywash and a safe. The only thing I will say is that there is a small lift that is accessed up one flight of stairs, so if you have a buggy or wheelchair you might struggle. We just used the stairs to the top floor to work off the Affogato's and Gelatos!

Quite place in a great location!

Very nice room! Very quiet and safe. However, maybe due to translation issues in the listing you should be aware that it is not really a bed and breakfast. What they meant was that there is a place for breakfast nearby that you have to book to go to through them and go to. The posting also said "laundry facilities" but now it looks like that was removed since I was there. There is a place to do laundry about 8 minutes away though that was easy to use. Very nice staff though and very clean and quiet! Parking is rough though and the nearest garage seemed always full. I really recommend NOT driving into that area if you can avoid it. It's very stressful and tight.
