Conveniently located about 10 mins from the Duomo and on a street with great access to shopping and restaurants.
The best shower I have experienced compared to my last 2 accommodations on the same trip. The toilet is heated, the hot water is immediate, powerful and continuous.
Only minor complaint is that housekeeping is not daily and has to be booked 3 days in advance. That being said, towels, toilet paper, instant coffee, etc, are all made available for self-service outside the room.
Amazing location close to everything. Check in is at a different location from the property so walking with the luggage through the streets was a work out.
Great location to the centre and short walk to the Duomo. Beautiful building and room with plenty of space. Bed was too firm for my liking and pillows were old and well used. 30min walk from the train station.

Bed was pretty bad and the bathroom wasn’t the greatest. Good location. Had to lock room from inside which was odd.
Very friendly staff and easy check in. The unit was spacious, clean, and looked the same as that they advertised. If I could comment on one thing I would suggest to add a ventilation fan to the washroom on the unit.
First thing you will need to do is pick up the keys for the accommodation. The main office is located 3 minutes away. Although this was a bit inconvenient, the property was very communicative about this before our trip, so I was very aware and prepared. They also explain in detail the check-in instructions on their page. We stayed in the larger Leonardo room. Two floors up a couple short staircases, and a short staircase up to the room. The room is set up better for couples, or family with young children. Open concept. There are no doors to separate the bedroom from the sitting area. The sitting area does have two sleeping sofas. The amenities and outlets were limited. Room and bathroom were clean. Shower water got very hot which was nice. The office has very limited hours, so they asked us within the first hour of our stay if everything was working and if we needed anything. The A/C worked ok. Fantastic location! Within walking distance to restaurants and shopping.

Florence city
We had problems with mosquitos and possibly bed bugs. Also, we were told 1ft floor....they might have considered it 1st floor but it was still 48 stairs to our room. Good location.
This was our first visit to Florence. Property is in a very convenient location, walkable to most destinations within Florence. Room was comfortable although you do not have room controls for heat or air so luckily weather was very tolerable during our visit. They do not do room service unless you request it but did leave plenty of clean towels and toilet paper out. Be prepared for stairs and with large luggage it is a workout. Overall our stay was very good!
Location Location Location!! Everything was super close. Short walk to the Duomo and everything around it including restaurants. The only thing missing was a bit more of a kitchen space would be perfect. The shower glass wall needs some sealer at the bottom. Our flight was late and they went above and beyond to get us in late. Super friendly staff. Extremely clean. Luggage storage was available to us for €5 each bag…super convenient. We highly recommend and definitely stay again!!

Liked: Cleanliness
The hotel overall was clean and had a unique vibe — staying in an old building with a giant gate at the entrance gave me a nice feeling, almost like stepping back in time.
However, there were some important downsides. We noticed quite a few cockroaches in the common areas, which was uncomfortable. Another key detail for future guests: the check-in process has strict rules. They charge 30€ for arrivals after 6 PM, and the office doesn’t open until 10 AM. Unfortunately, this meant we couldn’t leave our luggage early in the morning and ended up missing a museum reservation because we had to wait until the office opened. A staff member did show up earlier, but still told us we had to wait until 10.
Additionally, storing luggage costs 5€ per bag, which is unusual compared to most hotels.
In summary: the place is clean and atmospheric, but the extra charges, late office hours, and presence of cockroaches are important things to be aware of before booking.

The property lacks an elevator, making it shore with luggage. The air conditioning condensation made us put towels under it to control the water. The shower plug up but staff took care of the issue right away. Love the ladies working counter, friendly and helpful. I also liked the space room provided. I would recommend for a visit to Florence, just don’t expect the Marriott.
This place is way too expensive for how little they offer—there is no breakfast, staff closes up by 6pm and the room itself was really dirty. The shower would flood every time we used it, and there was dirt and grime on the shower floor. The beds weren’t the most comfortable, but the main problem was that they had no fitted sheet, just a top sheet thrown over the mattress. The mattress itself was scratchy and wasn’t the cleanest, so it was gross when the top sheet slid off and I’d wake up on the mattress underneath. The floor in the room was dirty, there were stains on the spare blankets, the locks to the room were finicky, etc etc. I’m not usually one to complain about hotels, and I have definitely stayed in worse; but when you’re charging almost €200 per night you should at least make sure your rooms are clean. You are basically paying for location alone with this hotel—the one upside to this place is how close you are to some of the main attractions of Florence, and some amazing restaurants.
Location is great, walking distance to many attractions and in a safe area with alot of dining options around. The room is not the best, ours was quite dirty.
The property is an old building, which is better taken care of would be a beautiful building. Located in a very central part of town , walkable to anything you may need such as market, bakeries, restaurants and shops.the bedding looked dirty and old and no elevator. Other than that, what you’re paying for is the location.
