Such an incredibly perfect property for a family stay in the heart of Florence. It was only 15 minutes to walk to the furthest areas of our time there and couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

We enjoyed the stay. The location was excellent, a few blocks from Ponte Vecchio, walkable to everything. About 15 min walk from train station. Staying in a building that was reportedly built in the 1300’s was quite exciting. Everything was very clean, amenities were nice. The beds were very comfortable and the 3 bedroom unit was quite spacious. One twin bed was a loft with a relatively steep ladder but the kids loved it. The showers, although small, were clean had continuous hot water from tankless system. If staying on the top floor, 3rd floor is really the 4th level, it is 64 steps from the street to the final level, which was a little extra exercise a few times per day, but may be a challenge for some - but obviously people have been doing it for literally over half a millennium.

Great Location. Noisy at night because the windows are single pane. Kitchen is not usable because the breaker jumps when you make toasts and cook at the same time. Then the water in the shower gets cold and you’re in the dark because of toasts! For the price, would consider elsewhere.

Welcoming and responsive hosts and housekeeper who allowed us to check in early and arranged taxi transport upon leaving. Large 3 bedroom apartment (Caterina de Medici) was great for our family of 4 to be able to spread out and have privacy. Downside to this apartment is being on the top floor with so many stairs but we managed. Shared washer and dryer and filtered water refilling station in basement was helpful. No blankets available, just a sheet and thin bedspread, was cold. Air conditioner in living area leaked and awoke in the middle of the night to find water dripping on floor. Loud street noise, glad we brought our fan for white noise while sleeping. Other than a few minor issues, we enjoyed our stay here and the beautiful city of Florence!

What a unique place to stay. Building is from the 13th century, and we has lots of space. 2 min walk to Ponte Vecchio
