The location is very convenient, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The rooms are okay if you’re simply looking for a place to sleep for the night. The views are lovely, but unfortunately, the rooms are not soundproof at all. You can hear pretty much everything happening around you, especially during breakfast, which can make it quite noisy to sleep or relax.
Overall, a decent stay if location is your priority.
Highlight was rooftop views. Breakfast included. Large room, comfortable bed.
Old, historic, interesting building. Good location. Close to Duormo, Ponte Vecchio and many restaurants. Would stay here again,
Stayed here for a few nights while visiting Florence. The hotel rooms have lots of character and the included breakfast was great! Amazing views of the city from the balcony!
Beautiful room with an amazing view of the Duomo. Nice continental breakfast included. Short walk to many lovely restaurants & great gelato shop. Only 20 min. walk from train station. Highly recommend.
Great place to stay! Especially liked the rooftop terrace for Breakfast and in the evenings! Staff was friendly and helpful. Very walkable area and close to some of the major sites! Would stay here again!

Clean rooms and spacious. Nearby to many attractions, but difficult to get transportation (Uber or taxi) due to street. No food was allowed in the rooms which made it a little inconvenient. Breakfast was okay, but most of the pastries were not very good (dry). Croissants were good!
The location was excellent. It was walking distance from most of the popular destinations in Firenze.
Communications were great and clear.
The room was clean. Breakfast was excellent.
This is an amazing gem in the heart of the city, within easy walking distance to all the historic buildings. The rooms are modern yet cozy, very clean, and the breakfast great. The view from the terrace is spectacular, making visits to towers or viewpoints unnecessary.
We were blown away by the customer service here. From the communication in advance of our stay, to the extremely helpful desk staff, every effort was made to help us have an incredible stay. The location is excellent, even though the street gets innocently rowdy at night. We also adored the terrace that overlooks the duomo and so much more. Our room itself was quaint and clean.
We stayed on the ground floor to the back of the property, which gives you extra outdoor space.
Beautiful character and very peaceful.
5-10 mins walk to the Duomo and in a vibrant neighbourhood.
The roof terrace for breakfast was exellent and the views were sublime.
Highly reccomend.
Location was superb. Very, very clean, and the gentleman at the reception desk was incredibly kind and helpful when I had a medical situation and needed his help since I didn’t speak Italian. The building is really interesting because you are basically in sort of an old palace type building and the hotel is just one part of it. There are a lot of twisty, Turney staircases, and the rooftop terrace is literally incredible. The only reason I gave it less than five stars is because the linens were old, and the pillows were hard, very flat. As far as parking, it seemed a bit overwhelming to us at first, but actually, it’s incredibly easy inconvenient. We had to turn into one of those no driving limited zones and we were worried that we incurred a huge fee. But if you stay and park at one of the parking lots inside that area, they have a way so that you don’t get fined. The parking the whole hotel recommended was literally half a block away. Super super easy.
This hotel was absolutely amazing. The staff was so incredibly kind and this beautiful place made the stay. The location is absolutely perfect, just a quick walk to about everywhere you’d want to go in Florence. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet although being so close to such a busy part of town. What really made the stay was the STUNNING rooftop. You cannot beat the view that this hotel gives you, our last night there we grabbed some dinner to go and enjoyed a beautiful evening. You cannot beat everything this place gives you for the price! Would recommend and will definitely be back!

The room was clean. The was pleasant. Breakfast consisted mostly of pastries. We traveled as a group of four and the seating for breakfast was challenging to eat as a group. The location to city central was good. There was no place to gather to play games or cards in the evening. The rooftop seats were a plus. Our room could use some attention as the toilet flush button stuck and the toilet seat was loose. Very limited space to unpack and store items as we stayed for a week. Just have shelves, no dresser or cabinet. No amenities on the property. The TV was challenging as the remote to power the TV was very sensitive. Had to remove the refrigerator from the cabinet for it to cool properly.
i can’t praise this enough. From start to finish, this stay was amazing. The building is stunning and literally 10 minutes away from the station and the museum that houses David. the welcome at reception on our arrival was incredible and we felt instantly at ease. we had two adjoining rooms as we were a family and it worked brilliantly. our rooms were huge and had such a warm feel about them. the beds were comfy and it was spotlessly clean. We spent the day doing tourist things and at night returned and with a drink we sat upstairs on the beautiful terrace overlooking the stunning view of old Florence and the church rooftops. We had breakfast the next day sat looking at the magnificent surroundings up there too.
The building was so quiet and peaceful that we thought we were the only guests, until we got up for breakfast and found the rest of the guests. Breakfast was easy, calm and very tasty with lots of choices. We ate on the terrace and enjoyed the view yet again. We checked out and left our bags while we explored some more and returned later to collect. nothing was too much for the lovely reception man who spoke English and was very helpful and even advised us on where to go etc.
On the whole this was a brilliant experience and a must stay especially when you see the terraced area and Florence from above. The building is spotlessly clean and the staff are lovely too. This place is a must stay.

Excellent location, very clean and outstanding staff
This hotel is one of my favorites on the trip. Room was spacious for three people, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was lacking but fine.
Location was perfect, walking or biking distrance to everything we wanted to see, Churches, shops, restaurants.
The balcony looking at the Cathedral was enough worth every penny. Room was clean and spacious. Front desk receptionist was kind and accommodating to all of our needs including taxi rides and booking restaurants.
What a delightful traditional style property, located through a courtyard hidden behind beautiful, wooden doors. Chose this for the character and the roof top terrace for breakfast which had amazing views across to the Duomo. We were upgraded to a larger room, was a little dark however not a real issue as lots of space. Breakfast was adequate but view from rooftop more than made up for this.

Wasn’t modern but liked the style, kept the windows open and was enjoyable. Location was excellent. Noisy due to bar down the street all night long, but didn’t hear it with windows closed. Very nice rooftop area and a great view of the city.

I booked this room last minute for my daughter studying abroad. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the room was clean and priced right. The location and view from the terrace were amazing.
