Francesco and Mira were wonderful and helpful owners with easy communication and many recommendations for our entire stay. At check-in we went over a map of Florence and drew out points of interest that helped up navigate the city very easily.

Awesome

Amazing host and great accommodation. We also loved the area as it's not as busy with tourists (it seems mainly locals hang out there) and great places for food/drinks (for dinner make sure you have an reservation).

The staff is super nice and the location of the hotel is perfect. Walking distance from almost of all points of interest in Florence. But the building has a very strong bad smell. The room smells very weird too. It makes me feel sick during the night. If you are a person that can deal with the smells this is the place. If you have a delicate stomach, like me, I do not recommended.

We were greeted by a cheerful owner. He was willing to tell us about the area. The very small room had the windows bolted shut. It was a shame not to be able to get a bit of air into the room. The hairdryer did not work properly because it was so old that the flexible air delivery hose was completely worn out and most of the hot air as escaping through the tube. There was no shampoo or bar soap. The shower was so small it couldn’t hold the liquid soap from the sink. We had to place this large glass soap dispensers on the floor in the shower. The place is advertised as a Bed and Breakfast. There is no common area for guests and the breakfast is served in a coffee bar/ bar down the street. We were served a cup of coffee, a sweet roll or croissant, and a piece of toast with a bit of cheese by a waitress that was less than eager to serve us. We were traveling through Europe on our bicycles. I contacted the owner about bike storage via e-mail months before our trip. He assured me that it was no problem and there was garage storage just down the street. He never mentioned that it would cost $25 dollars a day. He acted as though that was a deal. He did offer to allow us to leave them in the common entry for a be night. It still would have cost us $50 for our 3 day stay for 2 bicycles that sit in the corner. He went on and on that it was a super deal because he negotiated 26 hours for us instead of the standard 24 hours. We renegotiated with the garage for $10.

Excelente localização!

Adoramos nossa estadia no Locanda!! Inicialmente fomos muito bem recebidos pelo Sr Alessio, super gentil e simpático, nos deu varias dicas sobre a cidade (mapa, dicas de passeio, transporte público...) e notas para o café da manhã. A localização do apartamento é excelente, há varias restaurantes na mesma rua, supermercados e é possível ir caminhando, rapidamente, aos principais pontos turísticos do centro histórico. Com certeza voltaríamos a nos hospedar neste local!

The location was fantastic, we were a 20 minute walk from all the major attractions. The host was lovely he was easy to contact, made excellent recommendations and was extremely helpful. The suit was clean and felt safe.

Ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt mitten in Florenz in einer schönen alten Wohnung, voller Geschichte. Tolles Zimmer mit alten Holzbalken an der Decke, bequemes Bett, Dusche auf dem Korridor nur für uns. Alles vorhanden (Fön, WLAN, Bademantel, Handtücher, Duschmittel ....) und sehr sauber. Alessio, der Besitzer, überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit, weiss viel zu erzählen. Frühstück 50 m weiter in einer netten Bar.

Excellant séjour

L'hébergement est très bien situé, tout est accessible à pieds, le quartier est très agréable et à l'abri de l'afflux des touristes. Il ne s'agit pas d'un hôtel mais d'une location de chambre, il n'y a donc pas de présence en continu mais cela ne pose aucun problème même pour la garde des bagages le 1er et dernier jour qui a été fait avec beaucoup de gentillesse. L'accueil a été chaleureux, avec remise de cartes et conseils. La chambre était grande, agréable tout comme la salle de bain et d'une grande propreté. Le petit déjeuner se prend sur la très agréable place à partir de 8h30 ce qui pour ma part est un peu tardif. Seul petit point négatif! Je retournerais avec grand plaisir à la Locanda de Ciompi si je devais revenir à Florence.

일단 주인 할아버지가 엄청 친절합니다... 다만 청소하시는분을 제외한 직원은 주인 할아버지 밖에 없기 때문에 일반 호텔을 생각하고 오시면 굉장히 불편합니다. 엘레베이터와 미니 금고가 없고, 주인 할아버지가 없으면 숙소에 문제가 있어도 문의를 할 수 가없습니다. 주인 할아버지가 너무 친절하기 때문에 부담스럽더라고요.. 숙소 위치 : 주요관광지 (두오모)와 가까운것 같지만 꾀 걸어야합니다. 미켈란젤로 언덕을 도보로 이동하기에는 시내보다는 가까움.

Cerca de todo en una zona tranquila

Con una ubicación perfecta, a 10-15 minutos andando de los principales monumentos, este pequeño Bed & Breakfast con 6 habitaciones es una excelente elección para visitar Florencia. Habitación amplia, con buena climatización y dos ventanas a la calle perfectamente insonorizadas. Cama enorme y muy cómoda. Techo con vigas vistas de madera y amplio baño. El desayuno se hace en un bar que está a unos 50 metros del hotel, y consta de un croissant, un vaso de zumo, un café o te y un sandwich caliente de jamón o queso. Aunque es muy correcto, desayunar lo mismo durante 6 días consecutivos se hace un poco pesado. Alessio es muy atento, y está muy pendiente de sus huéspedes, facilitando información sobre la ciudad, llamando a un taxi si lo necesitas, etc. Él no está todo el día allí (llega sobre las 9.30 hasta las 19.00, si recuerdo bien) pero se le puede llamar por teléfono el resto del tiempo. En resumen, muy recomendable para pasar unos días en Florencia.
