Staff was incredibly friendly and inviting. The room was very spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable and we had a lovely view of the courtyard. Location was fantastic and would absolutely stay again.

Great hotel near parking garage and not far to walk for many tourist sites. Rooms are clean, but lots of outside noise from the street at night.

🇺🇸. Excellent location. Close to everything. A little bit challenging to locate at first. Specially since there’s another hotel nearby with a similar name. Be prepared to shower in a very small space.

Not great value for money It’s just a room plus a bathroom, very basic Very small tv Bit loud at night on 2nd floor No secure luggage storage, shared area with other guests able to access your luggage Breakfast was simple but nice

Although the staff was very nice and the sitting area as well, I was horrified when my daughter showed be her bedding was stained. I expected the hotel to be as upset as I was or embarrassed at the least. All i got was an oh sorry. For the price we paid this should not have been an issue not even going to mention the other issues we had.

Best small hotel I have ever stayed
La Residenza Fiorentina is really nice small hotel. First: despite small one but it offers great service (value for money). Location is perfect, only 5 min walk from SMN train station. Everywhere is a walking distance, galleria de academia, galleria de Uffizi, you name it. Second: staff are very nice, helpful, and smiling. Third: room is very nice and clean, our room (triple bed) had 2 private bathrooms which was amazing. Fourth: Rooms are equipped with real AC and not a chiller, so work perfectly in humid weather. Fifth: breakfast is basic but staff is perfect and delicious. We did enjoyed it. We do like the sparkling water dispenser which is available through the clock. The only tiny negative is the location of the reception, use of elevator and a door password, being a small hotel in a residential building. Lastly, I will not only definitely will come back, but also I will advice all my friends to stay in this hotel once they are heading to Florence.

Very nice, clean hotel in a great location. Minutes walking distance from the SMN train station and all the main sights in the city center. Very nice breakfast with lots of choices. They were able to keep our luggage for a couple of hours after we checked out and walked around before our train left.

I didn't like that I couldn't adjust the temperature of the room. All the rooms have pre-set temperatures . The only other issue was the size of the shower. There smaller than what you would find on a cruise ship.

Location was great. Staff was great- everyone from check in to breakfast staff and cleaning. The hotel has a water dispenser with both, still and sparkling water. It was very convenient.

Centrally located and good property. Staff were excellent. However, never seen such a tiny shower area. Wonder how a heavy person can get in to it. And very risky getting in and out.

Excellent location. Breakfast offered a huge variety of options. I stayed in a triple room and for me it was a bit small, initially they gave me a sofa for the third person which was impossible to sleep in it. They changed my room the next day and gave me a single bed.Someone on my family stayed on a room for four and was super spacious with two bathrooms. Not too many hotels offered accommodations four four and that was a plus.

Difficult if you bring luggage as there are steps with no help. The lift is tight, bathroom shower was a joke It was uncomfortable to take shower. Staff working on the breakfast not welcoming. Smile is free and a simple greeting would be very helpful. The bed is comfortable and the availability of free filtered water is good . Distance to station and attraction is great too.

Room was spacious and clean. Its tough to get to if you have a taxi or driver because it is on a narrow street you will have to get out in the square and walk over, but the walk is extremely short. There is only one iron in the hotel and sometimes it is shared between multiple hotels in the area. Those were the only downsides other than that i recommended this hotel also great breakfast

I would say a bit of a mixed bag for us. We stayed 3 nights here. Our room was very bare bones and freezing cold (we were told not to adjust the temp in the room), but quiet. We were only allowed one key when we really could have used 2. We appreciated having an elevator and the area and hotel felt safe. The staff were friendly and the breakfast offered had a good variety. Our bed was a bit lumpy but the linens were clean. The shower was ridiculously small (like RV small) and the shower head shot water every which way (not on purpose) so showering was not great. For the price and location, I guess it was fine. Maybe a different room would have been better. I think as I get older, I just want a few more comforts. If you are on a budget, then it felt safe and fine. If I were to come back to Florence myself, I would probably stay somewhere else.

The place and the staff were amazing. Federica, was very helpful and kind. She took care of our luggage and the staff in the kitchen were very kind. The breakfast is great. Our only comment is that in our room the A/C did not feel at all during the night and the rules, they provide in the check-in said that you are not allowed to change the temperature so if this is the case they should check that the room has the appropriate temperature, we understand summer has a very high temperature but that's the reason you are paying for a hotel with A/C. Thanks

Great but no elevator in all the floors
The front desk lady was very nice, there was a parking lot very close to the hotel, but we had to paid extra for it . Breakfast included and it was very complete The only bad thing was that the elevator only goes to the 2nd floor and our room was on The 3rd and we had to carry our luggage by ourselves thru a lot of stairs

Wonderful place to stay, the staff were friendly and the room very clean. Breakfast was included and provided lots of choice and a chance to start the day nice and full. Only slight downside is the property is quite noisy. You can hear noise from outside and also every time anyone else in the building opens or closes a door. This made for some disrupted nights. However I would still recommend this place as it is very conveniently located and the pros definitely outweigh the con.
