We stayed two nights, and the AC didn’t work well. It was during mid July, so AC not working was the worst experience ever, we couldn’t sleep throughout the night. We requested the manager to change the room for the second night, but he wasn’t helpful at all. I’d highly recommend you folks to pay €10-20 extra and stay at a better place where the AC works. Other than that, it was close to all major landmarks and the train station. And the hotel was clean.

This hotel has friendly staff and close to the train station but other than that it’s not comfortable hotel. No AC, walls are so thin I heard everyone who talked and having sex. Definitely not a family hotel as I wouldn’t want my kids to hear such things. You cannot sleep as you can literally hear everything from every room around you. Our stay here wasn’t the best, but we got around smoothly because we had close access to train.

Un Hotel bien decorado, muy cerca de la estación del tren caminando a 2 cuadras, pero el sonido durante la noche que se mete por las ventanas de las personas pasando por la calle, los autos, las motos, los carros de limpieza es insoportable, pedimos cambiar la habitación y nos dijeron teníamos que pedirlo en la mañana. un caos

Buon albergo a due passi dalla stazione

Albergo in posizione strategica: all’inizio del centro storico e nel contempo vicinissimo alla stazione ferroviaria. Oltre al comfort della camera, sono degne di nota le sale comuni (presenti anche ai piani) che bene dimostrano la vocazione artistica che il nome dell’albergo porta con sé. Rapporto qualità/prezzo molto buono.

L'albergo è molto bello: niente di lussuoso però è un edificio storico ben curato e confortevole. Soggiornare anche nei salotti è molto piacevole. Le camere sono molto carine e, soprattutto, pulitissime (anche i bagni): devo dire che raramente sono stato così soddisfatto della questione pulizia. Inoltre, tutti, ma proprio tutti, i gestori con i quali mi sono interfacciato sono stati di una gentilezza squisita! Accanto a tutto questo, però, l'aria condizionata della mia stanza non funzionava; mi hanno cambiato stanza e qui dal condizionatore usciva aria a temperatura ambiente ...e così è continuato per tutti e due le giornate (e le notti!) di soggiorno, anche nella camera della mia amica. Si trattava quindi di un problema generalizzato della struttura. Visto che era sabato, quando ho riferito il problema, mi è stato detto che difficilmente si sarebbe potuto intervenire prima del lunedì: ci può stare, pero...! Il frigo bar non funzionava: ho segnalato la cosa e me l'hanno messo in funzione. A un certo punto, però, ho dovuto staccarlo perchè era diventato rovente (anche all'interno). L'ho riattaccato e il riscaldamento anomalo non si è più verificato, però l'interno continuava a essere caldo. Infine, il secondo giorno non mi hanno rifatto la camera! Capisco la situazione di emergenza, però consiglio vivamente di curare di più gli aspetti "tecnici" della struttura: io avrei voglia di tornare in questo albergo, ma vorrei essere sicuro di trovare tutto a puntino!

Great location

The location is very good. It is near to the train station and there is a lot of restaurants and shops nearby. Most of the tourist spots are walkable. The room size is sufficient. It is clean. Yet the facilities and the setting is outdated and should need some renovation. The breakfast is continental styles and it is good enough for me.

Wonderful staff

Everyone is kind and professional here. Excellent heating in my room. Good windows that muffle street noise. Rooms would benefit with updating/improvements to match photos. I had an issue with my room that was handled professionally and politely.

The hotel is conveniently located close to SMN train station and the attractions. We easily walked to the Duomo. Our room was dated but added to the character of the place. Breakfast for 5 euro has a satisfying selection.
