Friendly and helpful staff who speak good English and clean and comfortable rooms. A lot of steps though and a noisy street outside - but that’s inevitable I think in a city centre location. Fabulously close to a lot of places you’d want to visit.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room had everything needed, including a fridge and water kettle to make tea, coffee, or hot chocolate. Superb cleanliness. Comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast, with lots of different choices, prepared with attention to every detail, in a warm and quiet atmosphere.

A nice gem in a gem of a city

Very conveniently located near the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore in Florence, this hotel is a nice hidden deal. While the 19 steps to get into the lobby are a bit steep for someone with a heavy bag, there is an elevator for getting to your room from there. The bedding is plain, even dated, but warm in winter.

Close to square and daily excursions and within walking distance to some great restaurants. I chose breakfast option with booking with Expedia but the desk person said we were not entitled to breakfast. It was a little embarrassing when approached as making a plate. Other than that, it was enjoyable stay.

I’ve never felt more welcome and cared for. The staff were so kind and helpful and showed a genuine interest in making sure we enjoyed our short stay not only at the hotel but in the city of Florence. This was close to the train station and all the sites. The facilities had character that felt in line with the city. Our room was clean and though slightly dated, it was comfortable and the AC worked well.

First of all, the staff are super nice and very helpful. They genuinely want to make your visit to Florence enjoyable. The location couldn't be better. Very close to the train station, a two minute walk to the tram that goes right to the airport and so close to all the monuments, museums, restaurants and shops. The rooms are perfect for dropping your bags and exploring the city. They are typical of a major international city - not huge but they have fully equipped bathrooms, lots of towels, comfy beds, mini-fridges, etc. Great value in an excellent location. Very safe.

Clean room. Convenient location. Helpful staff. No need for 3rd bed for 2 people. Very very narrow bath. Can’t move in shower. Lousy elevator. Very pricey at 290 euro/night for such facility. No eggs in breakfast. After I put in my checkin review at Expedia, hotel manager did offer room swap after 2 nights, for room with better size bath.
