Hotel was clean, rep at check in was efficient & friendly, room access was difficult with travel up/ down stairs, construction at entrance did not make for a good first impression but the lobby was fine once inside

The reception staff were not very friendly. They were rather dismissive when we checked in and when I asked for some guidance with dinner recommendations, etc. However, the lovely woman who was assisting guests at breakfast was lovely. She was cheerful and accommodating, making guests feel welcomed.

The staff was friendly and accomodating. My room and inside hotel was clean. It is very near to restaurants, shops all transportation and landmarks. The only negative is they were doing repairs outside the hotel and scaffold was obstructing my window and made the sidewalk very tight to walk. Overall I had a great experience staying at this hotel.

General good hotel, however there were flies and a smell in the washroom. The access to the room was very convoluted. The elevator was defective. Although, front desk staff was good. Not recommended.

This hotel was not as described. There was construction to the entire front of the building. They put us in a room on that side so it was noisy as hell. The room was not thoroughly cleaned. Hair on the floor in the bathroom which small and water went everywhere when showing. The comparison would be to a bad Motel 6. Would never ever consider staying here again. The photos provided must have been AI enhanced to make it look better than it is.

great location just around the corner of Mercato centrale and other tourist attractions! over all stay was nice, but here's some cons.. The room was far from the lift and I had to use the stairs to access my room. the fridge was full smell of molds and so were free bottles of water, so didn't use it at all. Before I used AC, felt like the room air was not so fresh neither. if it was 3 star hotel, I could understand the condition... staff was nice and helpful, thank you!

Very friendly and accommodating staff. the refreshing cold water and bread snacks available in the lobby is much appreciated specially during the scourging heat in August. The hotel is very convenient to all the tourist spots, shopping areas, bus station for day tours and of course the SMN train station. Thank you

The Hotel Atlantic is perfectly located close to the railway station and the principal tourist destinations in Florence. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful The roof top bar offers excellent views and cocktails. However,  our Classic room would have benefited from a refurbishment. The shower in particular and some kind of rail is needed to provide support when descending the two steep steps from the bathroom to the bedroom.

Hotel was in a very convenient area near train station and walkable to main attractions. If I were to come back I would not book with this place. Staff was not welcoming nor helpful. There is no wifi in my room, and staff did not do much to help. Room was semi clean. Bed was way too hard. Rooms are also outdated. If you are looking for a modern place this is not it. Would recommend booking somewhere else.

Location is great. Within walking distance of popular attractions and tours. But this is not a heritage property and nor it is a 4 star property. At max, it is a 2 star property. Facilities are poor. Not even a coffee cup in the room. You can’t set room temperature, the spring bed can give back pain and windows without curtains. We had to keep windows closed all the time for privacy. Flys and mosquitoes in the room, not many but they were there. If you are staying at this location then plan on staying out the whole day and use this place for crashing at night when you are dead tired.

The air conditioning was not working during our stay, which was the middle of Italian summer when the temperatures peaked at 40 degrees Celcius. We were not informed of this fact prior to check-in and thus had to endure an unbearable hot room which made it almost impossible to sleep.

I give 4 star just because the property is close to the train station, the basilica santa maria ,the Baptisry , the cathedral of santa maria del fiore, even it's close to the galleria del'accademia di firenze where you can see the Michelangelo's sculpture David. The room was cold and there is no coffee machine or even cattle if you desired to make a hot drink . I want just to say something which is very important that the city is not safe .. they tried to steal our passport 2 times (first time he open my backpack i warned him but he followed me again. for the 2nd time i found my documents in his hand) so be careful especially front of the train station and in crowded places. Always keep your bags or backpack front of you .
