The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The location is absolutely unbeatable — close to everything we wanted to see and do. Breakfast was a daily highlight, with delicious options and attentive service. And surprisingly, the best coffee we had in Florence was right at the hotel! The only downside was the room itself — it was quite small and lacked natural light. The bathroom also had very limited counter space; adding a small shelf for toiletries would make a big difference.

Location & Amazing Staff

The doorman, Umberto, was the top of his profession. We were lost driving into the city - they sent a person 6 blocks over to walk us down the streets to the front of the hotel. The hotel is lovely and the best location. I've stayed in Florence many times - I will return to this hotel from now on.

This property was incredible. Thankful to finally get rid of rental car with tricky driving situation on small city streets, and walk the amazing streets of Florence. Loved the breakfast, fresh squeezed juice, ample options for healthy eating. Rooms were perfect. Workout room very good. Service and staff very helpful and attentive. The location is perhaps the best you could ask for. Historic and awesome hotel. If we ever return we will definitely stay here again.

It's two quiet streets off the main avenues to the Duomo - it's quiet, has a museum in the basement and the breakfast buffet was amazing. Hearing the bells from the Tower was a plus! A very very Florence experience, walkable to all the sights - friendly staff

We loved the room upgrade with Expedia VIP. Unbeatable view of the Duomo and close to all the main attractions. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Parking is a bit tricky at the hotel but otherwise no complaints. We’ve stayed here twice and would love to come back again!

This was a lovely, five star hotel right in the center of Florence by the Domo. The location could not have been better. The hotel was just lovely. The room was on the small side but I did not expect more from a city hotel. The front desk people were very friendly and helpful with anything we needed. This was a true five star and I’m giving that by US standards for a city hotel. Breakfast was excellent.

What an unforgettable experience! The location of this hotel is simply superb—nestled in a prime spot that offers easy access to all the must-see attractions and local gems. I loved romantic ambiance. The decor was tastefully done, creating a cozy and intimate atmosphere. Every detail seemed carefully chosen to enhance the romantic experience, from the soft lighting to the plush furnishings. The highlight, however, was undoubtedly the view. I loved looking over the street with the grand windows. Waking up to such a breathtaking vista was a daily treat, and it truly made the stay feel special. Overall, Brunelleschi exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of its prime location, charming room, and fabulous view makes it a standout choice for anyone looking to enjoy a romantic and memorable getaway. Highly recommended!

I really wanted to love this property, but I felt at $600 a night, it deserves an honest review. The staff is friendly and the hotel is absolutely stunning. Our problem was really with the housekeeping. My son and I were traveling together and requested twin beds. The beds were so uncomfortable that we flipped back and forth all night, both waking up with a sore back. The pillows were lumpy, which I don’t understand in this day and age. Why not replace with higher quality? It’s such an easy fix. On day 2, we ran out of toilet paper in our room. I can honestly say, that’s the first time I’ve ever had that happen at a hotel. The last morning, my son did the look under the bed to make sure we didn’t leave the stray sock behind and he said “uh-oh…pretty dusty under here” I would probably never leave a review like this, but at this price point, it really needs to be mentioned. I loved the hotel and will likely stay there again, but management should revisit the facility maintenance.
