Wonderful place run by Franciscan Sisters. We enjoyed the friendliness and helpful staff. We were close to attractions but off the beaten path. The rooms were clean. Our favorite part of this hotel was listening to the sisters sing in the morning and evening.

The convent is clean, comfortable and close to the train station yet a short walk to the Duomo. There is a lovely garden and a very peaceful vibe thanks to the Sisters who live there.

The location was excellent and we could easily walk to everything. The room itself was large and clean, but the bed wasn’t comfortable at all and the heater was not working. We also noticed some mold in the bathroom, which was disappointing.

Amazingly kind staff, a spotless room with daily cleaning, balcony overlooking an incredible garden, nice simple breakfast, close to train, bus, and walking to attractions, and quiet. We were so moved by the sister’s singing in the chapel, tending to the garden, and their sweet and supportive countenance. We sincerely hope to return.

Stay was spoiled (a little) by (some) staff. Check in person was a little confused (possibly some on us as we do not speak Italian). Asked about breakfast and paying but when we showed up for breakfast it was supposed to be booked and Sister Grumpy had a bit of a hissy fit. Lokk the place is very basic but comfortable and centrally located. Maybe the staff (and yes they are nuns so not their main role we know) could have a little hospitality training.
