"The property was set in a beautiful setting with huge green lawns and rolling hills.. Very scenic views. We walked on a trail to a peaceful lake on the property.. The room was done in a very pleasing manner.. everything provided.. The owner was very pleasant and helpful.. Breakfasts were delucious.. We had pancakes with maple syrup and fresh berries picked from the grounds. A peaceful and delightful stay.."

"Our check in was easy- one thing I’d suggest is to have a flag or something to mark the driveway. The place was very unique and the hot tub was wonderful -complete with a brief visit from an adorable lab. We hiked the back hills and were rewarded with a spectacular view of the entire area of Blomidon’s waters. Sadly had no time for Cape Split.We enjoyed making quick suppers in the kitchen. Would highly recommend this place. Many things to do on a rainy day ."

"This is a historic shine, from the late 1700’s and it is spectacular. The woodwork is astounding. The hosts leave nothing to desire and are so easy to visit. The thing you need to be aware of is that there are stairs to get to the rooms."
