"The porch of the Inn has a spectacular view of the bay and river. It was so much fun to watch the tide go in and out. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower had plenty of hot water. The garden was in full bloom so that was very nice. Our host knew all kinds of information about the area which was helpful and interesting. And our breakfast in the morning was excellent. We also got to meet several of the other guests and had great conversation."

"The hot tub was good , water was a little foggy but still acceptable. Kitchen had most requirements except for BBQ flipper and functional can opener. More kindling to start fire would be better. "

"Thank you for a wonderful girls getaway. Several of us enjoyed the hot tub. There was plenty of room for group activities.place was spotless, kitchen well stocked except some paper towel could be handy. Overall a great spot for small groups and families."

"The house is immaculate and very comfortable. The views of the Bay of Fundy are spectacular, as is the beach, which has incredible geological features and an ever changing shoreline due to the rapid changes of tide. Most mornings you could walk out into the bay for hundreds of feet, and watch the tide come in at noon to the rocks lining the shore. Our hosts were amazingly responsive, friendly, kind and generous. When my friend found some nautical maps she had been searching for, our host's son MADE her a hand-made balsa wood box to carry them home in so that they wouldn't be damaged in flight. He helped us when the wi-fi went out so that we could watch a movie, and was so helpful with things to do and see in the area. When we said we three were musicians looking for some Irish and Celtic music, he left us CDs to take home with us! This place is remote, extremely quiet and so stunningly beautiful. It was the perfect retreat from the world for three old college friends to have a reunion. We cooked, we walked on the beach, we went to the charming towns nearby, the Geopark at Five Islands, the Dutchman's Cheese Shop, and ate the most fabulous seafood you can imagine. If you're looking for a true retreat from the hustle of everyday life, this is it! I know I want to return. "

"We so enjoyed staying in Five Houses. We were concerned about the distance from town(Truro) butThere are many communities and groceries and supplies much closer. People were very friendly and the Bay of Fundy is an amazing sight, on the doorstep. We hope to return"
