Wonderful property for the whole family
Our family had a beautiful time at Twin Oaks Cottage. The house and grounds are in beautiful lush condition, and were very safe for our children (three under 9) to run around and play on. Even a very thoughtful gift basket on our arrival with marshmallows to toast on the fire, carrots to feed the horses, and a lovely bottle of sparkling wine for the grown ups! Would definitely recommend staying at Twin Oaks.

Excellent place to stay!
I stayed for two nights and used it as my ‘getting ready’ place for my wedding nearby. It was an absolutely beautiful place to stay and my daughter loved visiting all the animals (especially the super friendly chickens!) We will definitely stay again in the future.

Twin Oaks Cottage
Twin Oaks Cottage is an amazing place to stay. Very relaxing and calm environment. The Cottage is very cozy and clean. Best place to stay for a retreat. Kate and her sons are very welcoming and accomodating especially Milo ❤️. We fed the horses some carrots and had some eggs from the chicken coop. They even had a welcoming basket with wine, marshmallows and carrots for the horses. They provided everything, you just need to go shopping for some groceries. The bonefire is the best part, they gave us some woods for it. We had barbie and they even had a list of places to go to. They have swings and playhouse for the kids. It’s all worth more than you pay for. Hoping to come back again next holiday.

Great Family Stay
Wonderful cottage that was cosey and warm. Cottage was clean and well presented and had no issues during our stay. Situated to close to Mali Brae Farm making it the perfect place to stay if attending a wedding. Highly recommended.

Wonderful country getaway
This is a gorgeous property with amazing views from the deck and lounge room. We loved having family games of tennis and sitting around the firepit watching the sunset. Would love to visit again.

Hello my fellow travellers, it’s the worst property I ever booked. When I when to the property there were someone already in there. We booked 1 month ago and don’t know how STAYZ run the business. We were all outside with the kids and it was freezing cold . We couldn’t find any house near. It’s was **** bad. If anyone book through STAYZ you better book another property as-well if you want to enjoy your holidays.

This was a very distressing situation for both Elizabeth, the guest and me, the host. Elizabeth’s review is a fair account of the evening’s events. While Elizabeth booked on 7 June, I had already accepted a booking on 3 June for the same dates. The stayz calendar should not have accepted the double booking as my calendar was already blocked for those dates. As I don’t use the Stayz calendar as my primary source of information, this error was not picked up. My primary concern on the night was to find alternative accomodation for this lovely family. Unfortunately the Stayz agents weren’t able to assist with this. In 12 years of hosting, this event has never occurred for me and I don’t wish to ever go through this again. To all hosts, double check your calendars for all your booking sites as regularly as possible. Don’t trust the reciprocal blocking system.

Great stay!
We had a wonderful time enjoying the house and surrounding property. Our kids (and dogs) loved the space and loved the easy access to the outdoors, feeding chickens, feeding horses and taking advantage of nearby sights. Kate was excellent communicating with us on questions and we loved the fresh eggs and wine awaiting our arrival. We will be back!

Outstanding property on a farm. Everything exactly as described online. Very clean and well furnished, with even a portable cot provided. We liked the presence of the animals and especially the kids as the owners allowed them to feed the horses. Definitely would like to come back but this time in winter to use the bonfire.

A great rural Southern Highlands stay
The location was perfect for us and the house was comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. Plenty of space for our cavoodle to run around outside. Lots of magpies, cockies, black cockatoos and a few roos around. Bonuses were 6 average daily chicken's eggs and the wonderful spring water. Mobile data was for us marginal being with TPG, not Telstra, ok on the deck but not in the house except possibly in the wc (according to my wife!). This wasn't a problem however.

Fantastic Farm Stay Experience
We stayed at Twin Oaks Cottage over the weekend and used the accommodation as a little hub for wedding preparation. The property manager, Kate, is super lovely, and responded to my queries efficiently. She was also very understanding and flexible with our requests and needs for the weekend. The cottage had everything we needed and we were spoiled with champagne and fresh farm eggs! It was a delight to stay here.

Three days of a beautiful piece of the Southern Highlands, cold outside, warm inside, quiet and wonderful . Kate was a friendly and helpful host and we were able to see Fitzroy Falls which were amazing.

A Beautiful Country Getaway
A great place to escape to if you want to get away from the city hustle and bustle. The self-contained cottage contains ample resources for a much needed comfortable and relaxing break. The farm provides opportunities for fur baby walks and horse feeding memories.

Lovely place in a perfect location
A beautiful farm stay with a welcoming host and dog. Plus horses and chickens to feed. Marsmellows provided for the fire. Highly recommend for a couples retreat or to bring little ones. Kate was very accommodating and we had a lovely time.

We had a wonderful time on a very wintery November weekend with our little family. It was toasty warm and cosy with a beautiful outlook to the cows and bunnies in the morning. 15 drive into town on good roads and close to fitzroy falls walks and surrounds. All the baby extras thrown in saved space in our car so a big help! Would recommend

Wonderful location
This is a lovely cottage with outstanding outlook onto the beautiful property, with horses grazing and occasional wildlife to watch, including a flock of gorgeous fairy wrens. I highly recommend this accommodation as it also gives the opportunity to explore the other towns in the Southern Highlands whilst driving through spectacular scenery.

Fantastic - my kids LOVED it
We loved everything about this farmstay. The property is great, the hosts provided a lovely welcome pack including everything from excellent bubbly to carrots to feed the horses and marshmallows to toast on the fire. Our kids LOVED feeding the chickens and collecting eggs, and the chocolate labrador (Milo) was a huge hit too :-) Fitzroy falls NP and the surrounding areas are lovely too.

Beautiful cottage on stunning property. Very tastefully styled, luxe fittings. Very welcoming. The kids enjoyed feeding the horses and checking for fresh eggs each morning. Perfect getaway for the whole family
Great secluded location if you’re looking for a getaway from the city. The cottage is very comfortable and it’s two bedrooms away from one another for privacy. Beside the cottage there are swings and a cubby house, so we didn’t really need to look for any trips, there were so many interesting things for the kids (horses, chickens, sheep, cows, a very friendly dog) while allowing the adults to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Hidden gem
This is a great place for a country escape where you can feel completely removed from it all, but still be within easy 15 min drive from facilities in Moss Vale. For those looking to enjoy the sounds of birds, frogs and total silence, watch the bunnies hop about, the fog descending or complete darkness on a cloudy night, or feed horses and chickens in the mornings, this cottage had everything we needed to feel comfortable and relaxed (including games, kids books and a few toys). Highly recommend!

Perfect weekend getaway
A really lovely cottage in a beautiful setting. Plenty of space for our Kelpie to be a farm dog for the weekend! Highlights were the fire pit, the peace and quiet, comfy beds, loads of space, the tennis court, lovely hosts, the added touches that made the cottage perfect and a chance to recharge the batteries.

Mother, son, dog getaway!
My 14 year old son, dog and myself escaped Sydney to Twin Oaks last weekend. The weather reached a top of 8 degrees on the Saturday and 3 degrees overnight, but the cottage was warm and cosy with heating in every room!! On arrival, the cottage had supplied fresh eggs, a bottle of champagne (which I took home to enjoy with my husband), and some carrots for the horses. In particular we enjoyed the tennis court, the free-range chooks, the 3 horses over the back fence (we even bought an extra bag of carrots at Kangaroo Valley), the paddocks and Milo the choccy Lab. Our dog much enjoyed sniffing and romping about the property and exploring with Milo! My only negative would be that the perimeter of the property is not entirely dog-proof as a couple of the fences are post and rail and easily snuck through by curious pups! The rest is securely fenced however. Kate was lovely and very obliging, and we had a lot of privacy despite being relatively close to the main house. Highly recommended for a relaxing and peaceful stay!

Great country getaway
Spent 2 nights here with my wife for her birthday/our anniversary (really for her birthday). Took our dog who had a great time playing with Milo the house chocolate lab and hung out with us. Got to pat some ponies and chase some chickens. Was warm as toast even though it was zero outside. Plenty of space yet private.

Cute cottage in a stunning setting
We stayed here for a week with our two toddlers and dog. This is the second time we have stayed at the property and each time has just been fantastic! Feeding horses, collecting eggs and playing with the gorgeous lab Milo my kids had the time of their lives!
