"Great one night stay after flying into Boston from the United Kingdom. A good rest stop before driving up to Maine.
The only real negative? No in-room coffee making facility. "
"This was my family and I’s first trip to Gloucester and New England in general. The house was fantastic and the view was even better. Both the main cottage and the boat house had very nice finishes. Beds were super comfortable. The host was awesome. Any questions we had she answered them super quick. I had some items delivered through BabyQuip for my 1 year old and she made pick up and drop off a breeze. The only downside is we didn’t get to stay longer, but we will most definitely be back!"

"It was everything we expected from the photos and description. A great old house with all its quirks, and wonderful decor to set the mood.You can’t go wrong with this property; it’s so close to everything - renting the whole house was great for our group… which was my parents (in their 70s and handicap), my brothers family and my husband and I (all with littles ages 1,2,3 &4). The stairs can get tricky if they are under 2, but was easily managed. We appreciated our hosts and they were quick to help. Thanks again for a great vacation! "

"We had a fantastic stay at this home in Gloucester. It really is a cozy little place in a good location. Easily walkable to the harbor and main areas with shops and restaurants however I will warn that the elevation changes can make walking somewhat of an exercise. The T station is a minute away so that makes it convenient to travel to other towns via the train, something we would highly recommend. I would go so far as to say if you want to visit Salem in October, stay here and take the train, it would be way easier. As a family it was nice to have a park and ice cream shop in short and easy walking distance as well. The steps to the second floor of the home are very steep and small as the description says, so just something to be mindful of but absolutely not a detractor at all. A great place to stay if you are visiting Gloucester and Cape Ann! "
