  • Welcome to Sandy Feet Retreat - Detached beach house, ideal for couples or a family with young children (perfect for a family of 4 plus an infant) - part of The Bay Filey holiday village - with pool and beach access nearby! The owners own the next door beach house - so its ideal to book alongside Sandy Bay Hideaway for a large multi family break!

    Detached beach house, ideal for couples or a family with young children

    Sandy Feet Retreat is located on Blue Anchor Road - a favourite for families - being located in the centre of the village, close to the beach, tennis court, playground and village centre. Enjoy a spacious south facing terrace with long dog leads for your favourite friends to relax in the sun!

    Enter Sandy Feet Retreat through the step free door into the hallway with storage for shoes and coats. To your left are the master bedroom with kingsize bed and ensuite shower room, and the second bedroom with two single beds.

    There is also another shower room with jack-and-jill doors.

    To the right is the open-plan kitchen / dining / lounge space with new corner sofa and SMART TV (with Netflix, amazon prime, Apple TV etc - bring your own logins). Exit through the large bifold doors to the deck with seating, ideal for alfresco dining or sitting out whilst the children play outside.

    We leave a few games for our guests to use. The log burner makes this beach house warm and cosy for breaks all year round.

    -TVs in both bedrooms with DVD in one
    -Log burner (wood burning only - guest to supply logs)

    -Price includes bedding and towels for each guest (except infant), high speed wifi, and all energy use (fair usage policy applies)

    This property is part of The Bay Holiday Village and all bookings gain direct beach access, unlimited use of The Bay Filey Indoor Pool, Baby Pool, Sauna, Steam Room and Gym. Some amenities are chargeable locally like food and drink, tennis and any activities operated by Away Resorts such as Archery and Crafts.

Fabulous Stay

We always love The Bay at Filey and have stayed previously in other excellent accommodation, this is by far our favourite due to its location on Blue Anchor Road, which has a sleepy exclusive feel to it. Sandy Feet Retreat is superb!! Clean, cosy and comfortable we had the most relaxing 4 days. Everything you could possibly need is available, all in great working order and clean. We would definitely return, and recommend this property to others. The Bay is a fantastic base for what we wanted a relaxed dog friendly holiday, plenty of lovely walks on the beach, coastal paths and meadows with super friendly like minded people.

Anchor bay away

One very minor issue but wasn’t a problem in the single bedroom the basin drain plug would not seat properly you have to keep topping the water up. The accommodation,site amenities and location absolutely great, all in all we had a lovely time,this is second time at anchor bay and would love to come again. Thank you

Great stay at The Sandy Feet Retreat

The Sandy Feet Retreat was a beautiful property and in a great location. It was very clean and fully equipped for all your needs. The only downside with The Bay is the wooden sleepers used for the drive. They have them on all the properties and they are very uneven and extremely slippery when wet. Not great for people with mobility problems. Other than that a fantastic stay and I would definitely recommend to others.
