" I missed the lobby as it is basically a office in a back room, but the woman was nice that checked us in. Walking to our room, I noticed big stains on the hallway carpets. Our room was clean but our toilet wasn't flushing properly, but we were promptly given another room. The hotel is great for one or two nights, the pool is inviting, and there is a restaurant attached. There is a friendlys, a Dunkin and a supermarket within walking distance. "
Historic Home, Heated Plunge Pool & Grand Piano

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this historic house! It's an old house which has been completely renovated with a contemporary interior. Fantastic kitchen with everything you could possibly need. We were able to float in the pool for a few hours on each day of our stay. (We brought our own floats!) It is a smaller pool (large enough for our two floats) in a beautiful stone setting on the patio and we really enjoyed it. The rooms were well-appointed with nice linens and comfy beds. We all slept very well! The living room had a large tv and we watched a movie or two in the evening after dinner. Although we were an older group (3 of us 70ish and one 96 year old!) we were able to navigate the stairs quite well. The area was so convenient, it was quite easy to go into Lancaster for sightseeing, shopping and meals (we recommend Loxely's and Katie's Kitchen for dinner). We found at least 3 fantastic diners nearby so we would only make coffee and go out to breakfast. Nice coffee maker and the host supplied Lancaster coffee beans! Shout out to Black Olive Family Diner nearby. We wished we discovered you on the first day instead of the last, we would have gone there every day, fantastic food! Also, thanks to our host who responded quickly to our request to fix a broken tv remote. They overnighted a new one right away. The communication with the host was exceptionally good. All in all, a great stay at a lovely home. We would book it again."

"My family and I couldn't have been happier! The hotel was immaculate our room even better! The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable and extremely polite. We will absolutely being staying here the next time we come to Lancaster to visit family. I highly recommend 10/10"

"We had a wonderful time. The house was big enough for all our kids, with plenty of beds, and living space.The outdoor was amazing.. we couldn't get enough of it.. the peace and serenity, the views of the cornfields was unbelievable !Would definitely come back to this house."

"This home was a perfect location for our daughter’s basketball tournament at Spooky Nook, less than 15 minutes away. There was plenty of room for six of us. The backyard was quiet and nice for a campfire."

"I love how spacious this house was! Our family of 7 (5 adults, 2 children) had more room than enough room for all our activities. I loved the open floor plan in the kitchen/living room/dining room. It helped us enjoy each other's company while in the home. The house was clean, and included helpful amenities in the kitchen so we could cook and eat meals together. The beds were comfortable and the kids loved staying in the bunk beds. Oh, and the air conditioning worked very well keeping us at a comfortable temperature during July in PA. I also enjoyed how the home is surrounded by woods which provided more privacy as if you are out away from civilization. Yet, restaurants and the grocery store were just minutes away. It was a great home base for our vacation!"
