"We arrived at 8:01pm Sunday evening. I wasn't able to get a response to the door bell in the lobby. A note on the office door stated " No response to bell after 8pm. My wife called a # listed on a property sign. The person she talked to was a former employee who was now out off state. Her explanation of the situation was not encouraging. As we sat in our car trying to determine our next move Jackie arrived. (She had recently taken over the management. ) She informed us that she would call the owner and try to resolve the situation. To make long story short, our $$ was refunded thru Expedia by the owner 's request. Thanks Jackie and the former manager (I ve forgot her name). Their efforts saved the day."

"We had to make a last minute change to our lodging plans and we're so thankful we did! This place is absolutely wonderful, especially because I love farm life living. It was quiet, peaceful and very clean. We especially enjoyed the little touches of nature, such as watching the chickens and rooster (including a morning serenade), along with spotting pheasants down by the river, and the other wildlife in the area. All of this made our stay feel relaxing and very peaceful. Can't wait to stay again!!!"
