"Our group (10 adults) has rented a vacation home every year for the last 20 years, this was by far the most beautiful, well appointed, clean, spacious, and well kept rental we have ever vacationed at. The house is huge and truly stunning; the descriptions on VRBO are exact. Even though all bedrooms were beautiful, the master suite is something out of a magazine. The kitchen had just about everything we needed to cook including two refrigerators, two toasters, two different types of coffee makers, slow cooker, a large blender, pots/pans/dishes/utensils and many spices. Many items that one usually needs to bring were included in the house: hand soap, lotion, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, dishwasher tabs, dish soap, laundry detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, coffee filters, and beach towels. The lower level has entertainment options like ping pong, shuffle board, board games, books, and a television which were great during the afternoon rain. It also contains a cooler fridge. The rooftop was a great place to watch the ocean, stars, sun rise/set, the thunderheads roll in, or a space launch. The location is residential and very quiet but close enough to everything we needed. The beach is across the street but easily accessible and not crowded. If you are looking for luxury, this is it."

"We had stayed at this property 7 years ago so it was great to come back. They had done some upgrades to the property since then which were nice. Communication with this host is fantastic. Access to the beach is just steps away, and the view from the balcony upstairs is very nice. Loved the large bathrooms and kitchen. Neighborhood is quiet and location is great."

"We had a wonderful time and enjoyed having the beach so close to the property. We had a maintenance issue that the host addressed quickly and they communicated well with us. We were a little disappointed that the main bedroom was hot and had a humidifier running in it that we had to empty and run the whole time or the room would get extremely humid."

"Such a great spot. The house was very unique and had a feeling of being on a boat, but much more comfortable. Everything was as listed. A nicely stocked kitchen where we cooked a meal with ease and a nice big table that sat everyone nicely. Just a single bathroom but it was a good size for the unit. Being able to bring our dog was a nice bonus, I think she loved the beach just as much as we did. The beach itself was super nice, very interesting compared to many others around the area. Overall the depth is very shallow and makes for a nice long beach during low tides with a cool tide pool like river running through it that kept the kids busy for hours. High tide brought nice easy waves, I'd love to come back and see it all again in different conditions as I thought it was just the perfect relaxation spot. There are two other units in the house which worried me a bit going in but honestly I barely noticed them. Everyone had their own little hang out spaces. It would be a blast to rent out the whole house for a get together, maybe next time!"

Spacious hang out area, dining for all of us inside and out, all bedrooms have their own bathroom and the views are the best in every direction! We look forward to renting this beautiful beach home again!"

"The Turtle Dunes property is one of the best and most beautiful properties in which we have stayed. I really appreciate the "suites" which allow private bathrooms for all without the need to share that space. (There were 14 of us: 11 adults and 3 children.) We found the house to be very kid friendly as well. The kitchen is an excellent center of entertainment and is fully equipped with every imaginable gadget and cookware, and is fully stocked with essentials. We enjoy cooking as a family and the space allowed us to prepare large meals without bumping into each other. The house is on the beach with a fabulous view and easy access to the beach with a comfortable pool as an alternative to the beach. (We did not experience the hot tub.)There was a very minor issue that was not really resolved but it did not take away from our stay and the contact from itrip was very accommodating. We plan to return next year if the property is available in our time frame."
