"We had a very friendly welcome and stay. Breakfast was excellent. The beds were comfortable and because it is a countryside location, it was very quiet. Both Kate and Rambo the dog were great hosts."
"Staff are very friendly and accommodating. The room is spacious, clean with tasteful decorations. My son especially loves the heated swimming pool. Staff are very helpful and offered to open the pool earlier and offered to late check out so that he can have a swim before we left."
"With two dogs, we appreciated the safe and scenic spaces to walk around. The Bark Park outdoor field, with its sandpit and climbing equipment, was brilliant. Overall, we couldn't fault anything. The restaurant/food was perfect.
Thank you. 😊 "

"Everything excellent. Beautiful, comfy, spacious accommodation, with a lovely patio outside room. Staff ALL very friendly and helpful. Food excellent (dinner & breakfast). Pretty, peaceful location with nice walks. Could not fault. Highly recommend."
"We absolutely loved our stay here and just wished it could have been longer. Totally private, peaceful and relaxing, with glorious views of the countryside by day and the stars at night. The shepherd's hut is cleverly and beautifully converted, clean and cosy and equipped with everything you need. We cooked, sat by the fire, and slept like logs in the comfortable bed.Booking, check-in and check-out were all easy and free of fuss, and Will responded promptly to the couple of questions we had.We visited Sidmouth, Beer and Lyme Regis during our 3-night stay; but frankly would have been just as happy to sit with our books and the sound of the birds, doing nothing! We would love to come back."
Contemporary barn in the East Devon countryside, close to the coast.
10/10 Excellent
"Enjoyed a great family break at the barn - woke up each morning to glorious views over the valley. Lots of space and light make this a super place to relax and unwind. Great walks from the doorstep. Colyton village at the end of the windy roads has good cafes and a butcher and a peaceful church to wander through. The weather was fabulous so the pool was an added bonus. The owners gardens are inspirational. Totally recommend the property for a wonderful family break."
