"Although the property is very close to the interstate highway and our room faced the highway, once the door was closed there was very little noise. Once inside the room it is as good as any two-star hotel, with plenty of hot water, a mini-fridge, clean towels and bedsheets. "Our stay was perfect!! The house was stocked with everything. The best part was we could sit in the living room, which is very cozy, and see the lake. Perfect spot for a beautiful sunset. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset when we were there. The to a small beach area is another plus. Now for the owner Stacey, she was very nice and checked to make sure we had everything we needed. My friend and I are clean freaks and the house was SPOTLESS! Only downside was check out time is 10 am. We felt rushed....

"We booked this for the solar eclipse of 2024. The house was perfect! We had the best of both worlds, lake view but close enough to the hustle and bustle of downtown Erie. Plenty of room for our group that we went with. Inside was up to date and the backyard was amazing! It was clean and well stocked, maybe adding a few more drinking glasses would be a good addition. We would definitely recommend this house on Lake Erie, and will keep it in mind for future trips!"

"If I could give more stars I would. This cottage is beautiful and clean. Lake Erie is an easy walk and the creek behind the house meets the lake, the views are wonderful. "This house had everything we needed and more. There was ample space and comfortable seating and beds. I appreciated the supplies in the kitchen like measuring cups, whisk, baking pans etc… and the toys for the kids. The house is nestled within miles and miles of vineyards and there’s a lovely view of Lake Erie (10 mins away) which is enormous! We enjoyed the fire pit too. It was a very nice stay. Thank you!"

"The house has a wonderful view of the lake! Sunset was lovely. Location is away from the traffic and business of Erie. Great grocery store and coffee shop in North East. "We stayed for a long weekend to see the eclipse. We had a small issue with the lockbox checking in but they were super quick to rectify that as the owner lives next door. We loved the grounds because it gave my 2 year an opportunity to explore. The house is up on a hill so you do get a nice little view of the lake as well. It’s an old farm house and it has a lot of charm. Everything we needed was provided. It is also close to all the wineries in North East. I would definitely stay there again!"

"Booked this property to watch the 2024 solar eclipse (more than 2 years advance!) and it did not disappoint! Beyond the fact that it was the perfect size for my group (7 adults), very clean, and stocked with everything we could possibly need, the best part of this property by far is the views!! I highly recommend this property - the property manager is great, was a great value, and it was the perfect setting for witnessing the total eclipse - an experience I’ll never forget!"

"Me and my now fiancée stayed here for a weekend Valentine’s trip to wine country, the location is excellent, right in between tons of wineries, plenty of great food/restaurants and still on a quiet street just outside of town. The house was stocked with anything you need outside of your personal items. Overall a very nice little place to stay in that area!"
