Modern Studio in Heart of Downtown Fairbanks - beautifully renovated & clean

February 2022 update: We had WiFi installed.
Convenient downtown property within easy walking distance of many shops, restaurants, museums, post office, banks, bus station, visitor center, and coffee houses. Six blocks to the beautiful Chena River that flows through the city. Property has free off-street parking on adjacent alley. Completely renovated with quality, high-end finishes and has a clean, modern look. The rental is the upper floor of the house, approximately 500 square feet, with total privacy.
Features include large bathroom with vanity, mirrored medicine cabinet & light bar, shower and storage closet. Bedroom area has queen size sled bed, large closet with organizer, iron and board, air conditioner, nightstands, and room darkening, cordless blinds. Living room has dividing screen, futon (which folds down to a full bed), wicker easy chair, and wicker rocking chair, coat and shoe rack, flat screen smart TV with WiFi connection and local channels, Alaska magazines, books & pictures, along with puzzles and card games. Kitchen has large peninsula with four comfortable counter stools, lots of white cabinets, including one with glass-front, stainless-steel appliances, microwave, and double sinks. It has a Keurig coffee maker, toaster, some cooking seasonings and supplies, kitchen utensils, dishes, and cookware. Floors in bedroom area and living room are hardwood; in kitchen and bathroom there are wood-look vinyl plank floors.

Best Staycation Ever

Loved our short trip to Fairbanks and our stay at this cozy house in the heart of Fairbanks. It was incredibly easy to get around the city in every direction. The home was pristine and had all amenities and then some. The hosts were very responsive and friendly and we would definitely choose to stay here again!

Perfect Home for Two

The place is small, but ideally located and spotlessly clean. Though the living area/bedroom is small, both the kitchen and bathroom were very large. Everything we needed was waiting for us. If/when we make it back to Fairbanks we would definitely stay here again.

Great property in a great location

We stayed here during our winter visit to Fairbanks. Everything was great - an excellent apartment with everything we needed, and a perfect location to explore downtown on foot. The hosts were easy to reach and helpful.

Great Owner

Unfortunately, we were unable to make it all the way to Fairbanks. The owner was proactive and provided recommendations for us to finish the journey, However, due to the additional travel times caused by the wildfires, we thought a one day drive back to Anchorage was more than we were ready to tackle.

Newly remodeled, clean, quiet studio

This small house has been beautifully remodeled and tastefully decorated. My husband and I stayed Thursday-Sunday. Street noise was minimal and the location is very convenient.

Great!

We stayed here for 3 nights in the beginning of June. This is a studio, so something to keep in mind. it was super clean and had everything we needed! There was even a little basket with some breakfast goodies and chocolates for us, as well as tons of pamphlets about what we could do in the area. It’s in an area of Fairbanks that’s very walkable. You can easily walk to Salty’s on 2nd or The Crepery for a bite to eat. The hosts were also super responsive. Only drawback is that there is no washer/dryer.

Great place!

Ryle’s place was extremely clean, and very comfy! Location was great, and exterior was beautifully kept. My daughter and I were there for a few days, and we felt safe. The driveway for parking right next to the house was also a huge plus! I’d love to stay again sometime!

Great property in the heart of Fairbanks

I was pleasantly surprised by how accurate the details of this apartment was listed. The unit was very clean, everything worked as expected and it was very quiet. I really liked that I could park my vehicle next to the apartment and I was within walking distance of a number or restaurants.The owner's were fantastic about responding to my questions. This is a solid apartment would highly recommend to anyone looking for a single unit in downtown Fairbanks.

Fairbanks Bungalow

This property was exactly what we needed! We flew in from VA and wanted a few days in Fairbanks to adjust before our land tour and cruise. It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We could walk to a coffee shop and to nearby restaurants. The host had coffee, tea, and some snacks in the kitchen that were greatly appreciated.

Fairbanks Winter Getaway

We booked the studio rental for 8 nights in late Feb. 2025.Great "base camp" in downtown Fairbanks for the two of us to see the city and the surrounding areas.Communication with the owners, Marilyn & Ryle was easy and prompt, including before and during our stay.Well maintained and clean property with plenty of the "basics" (towels, utensils, paper goods, easy to use appliances, etc.) provided.Comfortable, open space with good lighting and seating and plenty of games / puzzles / reading material for your in-house time.Your own parking space right outside. Quiet area with access to good local food and local sites/shopping. We caught some of the minor winter weather and found roads were plowed, sidewalks shoveled and the property walkway/steps were cleaned promptly.If we return to Fairbanks again, this will be our first choice for a temporary residence.John & Donna S.

Handy little space.

Nicely convenient to downtown Fairbanks, I liked how clean everything was, and enjoyed the complimentary hot oatmeal and tea in the morning. Bathroom is very spacious and the windows opened for a nice breeze through the space when the weather was nice. I was able to have some friends over for dinner one night and sit around the kitchen table to chat.
