"The staff at this property took excellent care of us. They were patient, kind, and helpful. The food was very fresh and flavorful. The shower was a little difficult to get working properly but we figured it out in the end. Really loved the view from the balcony too. 10/10 would stay again. "
"Fantastic atmosphere and quality at dinner.
A little more standard at breakfast.
Poor English skills from the receptionist. She didn’t really understand that we had a problem in our room.(Our neighbor keep smoking in his bathroom, so our bathroom was also stinking of cigarettes)
The pool area is very clean and nice to visit, but the traffic around is a little noisy."
"La Mezzaluna is a short walk from Barga Gallicano train station, and buses to Lucca. Rita is amazingly hospitable & welcoming, and did so much to make our stay enjoyable. Rooms are very nice, buffet breakfast set us up for the day.
There is a bus up to Barga during the day, and a taxi back in evening. If you visit Barga, this is the place to stay. "
"Hotel Park Regina is a hidden gem. Roberto and his team will go the extra mile to make your stay super nice. Nice breakfast, a well kept pool and a beautiful and charming building. "
"Lovely hotel with excellent service. Elena who greeted us upon arrival was absolutely lovely and professional, friendly and welcome! She greeted us warmly upon arrival and facilitated a smooth check in. She ensured that breakfast was to our liking and was most informative and helpful throughout the stay. The property is very quiet and peaceful. "
"La gentillesse des propriétaires, la propreté du lieu (chambre, salle de bain) l’aide pour garer la voiture dans un endroit sûre sont les points fort de ce B&B.

"Monica was the best, to start we wanted her to make us supper the 1st night but I got back to her late and she had already made plans to attend an olive oil festival at a hamlet a few miles from her Villa. She invited us to attend with her and it was the best way to start out our visit, when you watch tv and see Italy with everyone from the town eating together, it was exactly like that an 8 course meal with all the wine you could drink it was amazing. She was available for everything we needed a cab to Florence she hooked us up we needed a restaurant for supper she hooked us up the owner even came out to let us know we we’re eating Monica’s mozzarella from her cow!!!!! She will take care of everything if you need her to and as others have said in reviews we did have her make us a meal and it didn’t disappoint. If we make it back this way I would stay hear again. Thank you Monica "

"Where to begin!? The photos in the listing simply do not do this property justice. It is a truly magical location and I highly recommend it. We rented the entire place, for 20 people, to celebrate a birthday and each family, couple or single had their own private space/apartment, while still being part of the whole. It's charming and had all the amenities. There are several nearby villages to grab dinner or groceries, and Lucca is only an hour away. It's a bit of a hike to the marble quarries, or Cinque Terre but we did it. You must have a car or driver though, it's too remote to get to and from easily. The owners were delightful. We ended up booking breakfast everyday, as well as a pizza night and a final goodbye dinner with their chef. Everything was fantastic!! Make sure you get an e-sim (their wifi is fine too) before you arrive and load up google translate, as the owners only speak Italian. We will cherish our memories of our stay for years to come. "
"The tranquility overlooking the valley from the terrace, the restaurant and the pool. Gorgeous Tuscan setting. Lovely old nunnery buildings. Be aware that the menu is limited and does not change day-to-day. Otherwise wonderful."
"First of all, we had no car. We had planned to have one but Italy recently changed the law and the rental companies haven’t updated their contract language or online policies to make that clear. If you have no car, you will be trapped here. There is one restaurant. The breakfast is paltry and they run out of items. There is little fresh like fruit. There is no lunch available and the town is a far walk down a mountain road. They make no exceptions for this. The dinner starts later and the menu is limited. Otherwise it’s fine. The pool and rooms are not how they are represented in the pictures. Overall very expensive for what you get especially if you hadn’t planned to be trapped there. It’s not set up for you to be so. Updated pictures are needed. "
"We didn’t stay as it was disgracefully dirty and the owners didn’t care. Told us we hadn’t paid for a room with a view when we complained about looking out at brick wall and scaffolding. Said we could move rooms for additional €75 per night but this room was as bad as the first one. Advertised spa didn’t exist, Refused to refund us "
Apartment in carefully renovated farmhouse with exclusive garden

"What a unique apartment! We loved everything. The host Simone was wonderful. The private garden was a gem. Short drive to Lucca, Pisa. One little thing we have to mention is: drive a small car. The way up to the apartment is very narrow. "
"The stay is like a retreat. You are surrounded by nature and it's so calm. They have amazing food and self-made products. There are so many fun activities to do so you never get bored! Staff are super friendly, and even animals seem so happy. Really enjoyed the stay!"
