"Very clean with welcoming staff. Breakfast had an excellent choice and cooked meal was outstanding. We also had an evening. Meal with friends and this was also excellent with a good choice of food. Our room had everything one could need."

"Narnia is a lovely place to stay. But it's not really in woodlands as such as it's in the owners garden. The cabin itself is lovely the bed is really comfortable and the cabin has everything in it that you could need. This is a personal choice I would have preferred proper armchairs rather than the cube seating which I found quite uncomfortable. But as I say that's personal choice. We had a lovely stay so thank you to the owners."

"This was my third visit over a two years and for my purpose and convenience this is a perfectly comfortable location to stay. Remember you are staying in a good old English country pub not a five star luxury hotel. The accommodation is well maintained the bedrooms are of a good size and comfortable. The now days expected tea/coffee making facilities along with hairdryer and TV are all here. Though if any criticism the televisions are quite small. Staff are always friendly and service in the restaurant at both breakfast and dinner very good. Choice on menus for both sittings are very good the quality of food is very good and the portions are very generous. Bar? well naturally goes with out saying you are in a Pub so a well choice stacked range of Beers Wines and Spirits, A range of coffees and Tea also available on bar service. No dogs in the bar please is a house rule. For my visit to the area I find this pub most convenient and good value for money, ideal for a one to three night stop-over such as my stays. Good location to visit the Wolds - Lincoln and the collection of National Trust visitor sites amongst others in the area. RAF East Kirkby Airfield Museum and the Battle of Britain Memorial flight (or take the children in the holidays to watch the RAF performing their skills) at RAF Coningsby both locations are just minutes away by car. So another great stay for me."

"We've just returned from a fantastic week at Bankside Cottage. The location was a perfect get-away, in a very secluded hide-away, next to a reservoir, surrounded by nature, with magnificent walking around the area, which we all loved, and our dog is still recovering from his many walks!The cottage itself was perfect, with everything that we needed, and was spotlessly clean throughout. We spent most of our time in and around the cottage, but had a few trips to the coast, to Skegness, Mablethorpe and Sandilands, which were all less than an hours drive away.As this property is fairly new to the market, I would recommend getting in early while it's still available, as I'm sure it will soon be fully booked. We look forward to returning next year. Many thanks to the owner for checking in a few times via email to ensure all was ok."

"A lovely cottage a bit remote no shops or pubs nearby so you have to drive everywhere for amenities, as it was a bit later in the year the roads are dreadful in the dark. We enjoyed our stay very quiet and peaceful."

"Had a lovely week at the willows and the weather was an added bonus the cottage was clean and welcoming with the added extras of milk eggs tea coffee and sugar .the village of Toynton all saints is ideally situated for the surrounding areas all within 20 to 30 mins drive . We visited Louth, Horncastle ,Skegness Woodall spa,and we also went to Cleethorpes to visit family .we also went to Lincolnshire wildlife park we were a little disappointed if I’m honest if you like parrots 🦜 then this is the place for you . A short drive in to Spilsby there is a Sainsbury’s and a co op if you need any supplies . And we used the fish and chip shop twice which was very nice and reasonable prices and the portions are generous. The summer house to the side of the property is lovely but it was to hot lol so we just sat outside as we were lucky with the weather all in all we had a good holiday at the willows would highly recommend."

"Had the most fantastic time. It's a small little apartment but ideal for 2 people. The owners (Red Lion Pub) were extremely helpful. Unfortunately I was unwell with a bad back and leg and they went to the trouble to get me a comfy chair when having meals in the pub. The food was excellent and not expensive and the locals very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend and we will most likely go back again."
