A spacious home in the towering redwoods awaits as you meander up a hilly, private lane. We are situated in a pastoral setting, minutes from Highway 101 and equidistant from the cities of Eureka and Arcata (approximately 10 minutes from each). Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway, or a family vacation, we offer all the amenities of home and then some!

Our two-story redwood home is surrounded by an extensive deck, perfect for relaxing after a day spent exploring the North Coast. Prepare a meal of fresh, locally caught seafood and organically grown produce in our well-equipped kitchen. Let the sounds of nature lull you to sleep while you repose in a spacious bedroom with quality linens. Both bedrooms have vaulted ceilings - one with a king bed and the other with a queen and twin bed. The downstairs office provides a quiet space and hosts an ottoman that opens into a comfortable single bed.

Humboldt County is renowned as a haven for nature lovers. With year round mild climate, and scenic vistas, see why we are listed as the second most desirable county in the country! Our home is well-situated to access local beaches, Redwood National Park, Humboldt State University, Victorian Ferndale and many other unique places. We are delighted to share our home with you!

Relaxing visit with friends and family

We stayed here while visiting family, what a great surprise to be in such a peaceful place. Loved the warm and cozy house with everything we needed to be comfortable and relaxed. Would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing beautiful house and location

Quiet beautiful location and lodging. House has lots of character, super clean and well stocked. Owner was incredibly thoughtful and even had the fireplace running before I arrived. I would highly recommend!!

Serenity in the redwood forest

My husband and I absolutely loved this charming house. The beds were so comfortable and the owners have thought of everything. With the seclusion provided by the surrounding trees it felt like we were the only people in the world. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay!

Beautiful property, very homey and comfortable. The kitchen has so many supplies, spices, tea and coffee. This is the best part of VRBO-we felt like we were staying with friends! I highly recommend this house.

Great Place in the Woods

What a great property in the woods. It was perfect for our family visit to northern California to check out the Redwoods and more. Very quiet with plenty of space to relax and a very well-equipped kitchen with everything needed to feel like we were home.

Peaceful, love the trees - the house is big, quiet, warm, clean and in very good condition. Well stocked. All we could want and loved the roomy kitchen with lots of counter space. Our dogs liked the hiking in the area. We would stay here again.

Beautiful hidden forest cabin

The house was beautiful and the grounds were all green and forest and flowers. Our favorite part was the large kitchen where we made all our meals. The bedrooms had gorgeous views through unique windows and the beds were really comfortable. The hosts were pleasant and always responded promptly.

So Magical!!

Stayed here for 3 nights while we worked in Eureka. The place is a peaceful, magical forest getaway! Delightfully clean and comfy. You are literally in the forest and perfectly situated between Eureka and Arcata. We didn't want to leave but on to the next job! Thanks for a great experience!!!

Cozy Cottage in the woods

This sweet cozy cottage was wonderful! The place was clean and had all of the amenities we needed. The house is located in the woods but was not too far from the town of Eureka. We loved seeing the banana slugs in the garden. The host communicated all through our stay. Thank you!

Beautifully Tranquil House in the Redwoods

I am SO happy we were able to stay in this wonderful home nestled amongst the redwoods. Perfect for me and my family to use as a base of operations for getting out to visit and reconnect with friends and family in the area. The small touches of warmth and welcome were abundant and appreciated, and communication was caring, kind and prompt. Amazing Get Away!

What a wonderful and cozy place to stay! The home has everything we could possibly need, in the middle of all the trees! The kitchen was well stocked, the couches and bed were very comfortable, and the heat worked great! I loved the claw-foot bathtub and sitting on the back deck looking out to all the trees. We also loved the location, being so close to Eureka and Arcata, but feeling out in the country at the same time. Thank you so much!!

Cozy getaway in the redwoods

We arrived to a super clean house. Windows open for fresh air. We slept with the widows open and let the cool breeze run through the house. Wake up to birds chirping outside. Bed were extremely comfortable. Definitely would recommend this house and the owners were awesome too. Great communication and the price was good too.

Redwood heaven!

This property is amazing, just perfect! My family and I were in town for a family wedding, and this place gave us plenty of room to spread out. The decorations are so cute, it is so warm and inviting. The outside property is gorgeous, we even had a mama deer and her baby come and eat the grass outside every morning. It was so fun to watch them! If I am ever back in this area again, I would definitely rent this property. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Absolutely PERFECT - close to everything but felt remote

We couldn’t be happier with our stay at this gorgeous home! It is so conveniently located a few minutes from 101 between Arcata & Eureka but up in the forest surrounded by trees & beautiful landscaping. Great home base for exploring Redwood NP to the north and Humboldt Redwoods SP to the south. Lots of great hiking trails just 10 min away too. First time we’ve been to a rental that had any instruments let alone both a piano and guitar. Great outdoor areas to soak up nature and great views inside too. I loved the combination of antique (eg claw foot tub) and modern comforts including great WiFi. The kitchen had everything too! Communication with owner/mgr was easy and prompt! Would definitely stay here again if we are lucky enough to return!
