This place is right in old town and conveniently located to all of the little shops. Very clean. Parking was a bit tight when we arrived due to a downtown event, but was easy the rest of the weekend.
This was a great spot to stay, especially during kinetics weekend. There is a lot to do around the condo and the parking is easy (easier than I thought based on the description). The space was great to relax and hang out and the beds were cozy. I did not have as much communication from the owner as I have had at other places. I was a little concerned about that but everything was great.

Disappointed
Picked for advertised laundry. Turns out, it was coin operated on first floor and I’m not traveling with coins. Pullout couch included dirt and debris in it and needed cleaned before I could sleep in it. Thermostat did not work and stayed at 74. Opened windows to be awakened due to profane shouts from the street…not great for kids. Not at all a great experience for road weary travelers. Disappointed in this over priced room.
The hosts were great. Good communication. The property is clean and cute. The apartment is in Old Town and Old Town Eureka is not a destination spot. The homeless issue (we witnessed many unpleasant things related to thishomeless issue) is present right outside the apartment and anywhere you walk in Old Town.

Disliked: Location, listing accuracy
The overall place was clean and safe. Laundry was a pain since you needed lots of quarters and it wasn’t clear in description. Location was not waterfront, was a block away. Surrounding area was dotted with many homeless people so was not the vacation vibe we were looking for. Some local restaurants within walking distance. The A/C did not work.

Positive- The host was very responsive. It started with them not mixing up our arrival date. We arrived at 7:30pm and the unit was not cleaned/ready. We moved to another unit in the same building. The second unit beds and amenities were fine, but the location was loud, many homeless people, and drug paraphernalia located outside - which was not ideal for families. As a note- We reserved 3 nights for a family of four. After searching, I asked the host where a spare roll of toilet paper was and they said they only leave an additional roll of toilet paper if the roll is less than a certain amount upon check in. 3 nights with a partial roll of toilet paper for four people! What a wild way to cut costs. The host was responsive, and after I questioned, they delivered one additional roll on our porch. I would not stay here again.
