"Our second time at Sweet Thing was as wonderful as our first. A 3 minute walk brought us to Madaket beach where the sunsets are perfect. The house itself is lovely and well kept, J P always a phone call away to answer our questions whether it was how to adjust the heat or where we could find the grill. He was wonderful. The location of the house for anyone familiar with the island, Millie's is right next door and their food is delicious. The bike path can take you from downtown is about 5-6 miles and an easy ride. Linens and towels are well stocked and after our first time there we got the hang of the oven. Clarence, our 12 year old Shih Tzu, was content to stretch out on his bed in the front room, catching the sun. I been visiting the island for well over 50 years and every time we go we manage to find something or some place that's new to us. Just a wonderful get away especially on the shoulder seasons. Many thanks to J P, for being our perfect host. Hopefully, we'll be back in the fall, until then we'll be counting our sweet memories Kristel & Ed"
