Hike Into RMNP From House-Coaster Passes-Hot Tub-King Bed-A/C-BBQ
The Eagle Cliff Mountain House (22-ZONE3319) is a cute and beautiful 1,062 sq ft house in a forest setting near the base of Eagle Cliff Mountain. ➡Easy access to RMNP. This is about as close as you can get. ➡Relax in the private hot tub after a day of sightseeing or hiking ➡Ride the mountain coaster with unlimited ride passes (see below) ➡Hike the Eagle Cliff Mountain trail from the house for amazing RMNP views. ➡Enjoy the electric fireplace and watch movies and shows on Netflix/Disney+/HBO Max
Three amazing things about this house:
1) The house has three unlimited ride passes to the Mustang Mountain Coaster that you are welcome to use during your stay. Zip through the forest at nearly 30 mph or take it slow and enjoy the scenery down 3,000 ft of track. You can ride the coaster alone or with a passenger. The coaster is located at 1180 Dry Gulch Rd in Estes Park, which is a 5.5 mile drive (approximately 10 minutes) from the house. Please call or visit their website for days and hours of operation. (Some days they are closed.) Please note, there is a $250 replacement fee for each pass that is missing from the house upon check-out.
2) This is one of the best locations in the entire area. You are about as close to the main entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park (Beaver Meadows Entrance) as you can get. Pop in and out of the National Park quickly and easily. It's also just a short 5 minute drive to the shops, boutiques, and galleries of downtown Estes Park. Due to its proximity to the National Park, lots of wildlife passes through the area. In the photos section of the listing are pictures that I have taken from the house of deer, elk, bears, bobcats, turkeys, hawks, and humming birds. I have also regularly seen eagles, marmots, and coyotes.
3) You can go on a beautiful hike to the top of Eagle Cliff Mountain directly from the house without needing to drive. It takes most people between 1 and 2 hours to hike the trail to the top of Eagle Cliff Mountain. The elevation gain is about 1,000ft. Parts of the trail have a steep incline but the views from the top are amazing! This is one of my favorite hikes, especially when the wildflowers are in bloom during the summer. Take a look at the pictures in this listing I have taken from the top. I used an app on my phone to label all the peaks. A map of the trail can be found inside the house. There are other hiking trails nearby that you can walk to from the house including a relaxing and peaceful trail that takes you along Beaver Brook. The boundary for Rocky Mountain National Park is only 0.3 miles up Eagle Cliff Road.
Due to my house cleaner's schedule, I am unable to make arrangements for an early check in or a late check out. On the day of check in, I will send you a message as soon as the house is ready to go. (The house is typically ready to go between 3pm and 4pm.)
My insurance company does not allow for any open flames or outdoor smoking at the house due to fire risk.
The hot tub is available year round but cannot be used during high winds.
During the autumn, winter, and spring, I strongly recommend you bring a vehicle with 4WD / AWD. The town generally does a good job of plowing and sanding the roads in the neighborhood in a timely manner after each snow storm, but if you need to drive while the snow is still falling, or you are going up to higher elevations such as Rocky Mountain National Park where they tend to get more snow, it's a good idea to have it.
The house is decorated for the holidays with an artificial Christmas tree and Christmas wreath. (Typically the week after Thanksgiving through New Year's Day)

Check Out (10am): Please double check that the range and fireplace are off, the windows are closed, the hot tub cover is latched, and the doors are locked.

One of the best we’ve stayed in. Extremely clean, organized, great instructions. Low demands for check out. Very comfortable beds and lovely views. Lots of perks-coffee and tea bar, great appliances and hot tub. Hope to stay again!
Very cute house. The beds were comfortable, hot tub was so clean and relaxing! Close to RMNP entrance made it so easy to go through the park multiple times! Would definitely stay here again. Only downside is you get a bit of traffic from the neighboring cabins but not terrible.
It’s a great location to RMP ! We also hiked the mountain behind - that’s no joke ! The place having its own Hottub was great after all day hiking It’s got everything you need which is great since it’s nice to not have to buy salt pepper etc Wildlife was great outside ! Close to things in town but we found less busy restaurants that were awesome
We had a wonderful stay at this home! Everything about it was perfect-location, cleanliness & amenities. The host has gone above & beyond in providing anything that you could possibly need. The covered porch was perfect for sitting outside-rain or shine. We would definitely stay there again & can’t wait to make a return trip.
Very impressive property with private hot tub. This was a very nice getaway and the property was huge. 3 beds and 3 baths. Very cozy. It was nice to unwind in the hot tub after a long day of hiking. The house was also well stocked with everything you would need. Highly recommend. I will definitely try to stay here again the next time I stay in Estes Park!
Wonderful spot; sweet room for kids and plenty of room for the everyone else! Very clean and tidy with lots of elk visitors out the window every morning! Thanks for a lovely weekend.
We had a wonderful winter stay at this property, it is truly 10/10. Little touches go a long way here- fully stocked coffee bar, robes for the hot tub, Wii for the kids. We loved this place and will definitely be back!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here-- comfortable beds, the hot tub was awesome, and so close to town! Excellent communication with the host as well. Would definitely stay here again :)
This property is very nice. Violet corresponds quickly and the house is well equiped. The hot tub was great after a day of hiking in the park, and you cant get much closer to the enterance of the park without camping. Would highly recommend.
The house was cute and cozy! Great little room for kids with games to keep them entertained. Beautiful views! Quiet and limited traffic through the area. Having a hot tub is a huge bonus too!
We had a wonderful stay! The owners seemed really nice. The cabin was really clean and had everything you could want/ need. My kids loved the bunk beds and games. The hot tub was a wonderful addition and was very clean as well. Would definitely stay again!

5 adults & 1 tween. It was impeccably clean & stocked with everything we needed & more. We would definitely recommend!
This property was absolutely perfect for our stay. It’s new, clean and the view was beautiful. It was close to town yet in a secluded area that was very peaceful with mule deer constantly around. The hot tub was also so nice to have! I would absolutely 100% recommend this place and would love to stay here again.
Host was very accommodating. Great location, close to everything. House was in great shape. We got a very nice surprise when a herd of elk came to graze in the adjacent field. So cool!
All the conveniences included in this new home. The location was very scenic and convenient to Estes shops and restaurants. We loved seeing the wildlife in the prairie. I would highly recommend.
We had a nice stay in our brief, 2-night reservation. The house is very clean and comfortable. Its location just outside of Estes Park is very convenient and in a quiet neighborhood.
Great communication with the owner.
Thank you!
