"We enjoyed our stay at the Mafolie Hotel in February 2026!! The pool was lovely and the view from the pool and restaurant was absolutely stunning!!! The staff was the best ever!! The front desk staff, cleaning staff and restaurant staff are all incredible - so friendly & extremely hard working and they made our visit extra memorable! The restaurant was terrific and we highly recommend! Free breakfast to start the day could not be beat! Dinner with a view was spectacular! The only issues we had were: our room was completely interior and we missed having natural light and any type of view would have been appreciated (not that we spent too much time there!) as well, the good thing is that this hotel is on a mountain and has the best view ever and the bad thing is that it is on a mountain and you must take a taxi everywhere!!!! Walking on the minimal shoulder of the road is not recommended!!! We had expected to do some walking to local attractions and that was not possible (disappointing.) All in all, a wonderful hotel that I would recommend for its charm, cleanliness and outstanding staff and hospitality!! "

"We stayed in the King ocean-view Villa Suite ( The Hibiscus Suite)- definitely the nicest suite. Sweeping views of the Caribbean. Very private and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The property in general is showing its age. Our TV remote was missing- so no TV. Coffee pot was inoperable- but coffee available in the lobby. The villas are a step above the hotel rooms. We walked to the airport in less than 10 minutes. Inconvenient for access to restaurants or grocery."

"Enjoyed this unique property. The layout is interesting with rooms located down various hallways, stairways...was like being in a maze, but it added a lot of charm. Not just a hallway with rooms on each side. Small but cute pool with bar area overlooking it. Nothing fancy, but very quaint hotel in fabulous location within short walk of main StThomas shopping/waterfront strip. Would definetely stay again."

"I had an ocean view from my room, and all of the pools had amazing views. The private Sugar Beach was an extraordinary asset to the overall trip to St. Thomas. In addition, the cost of taxis from the resort to Red Hook was very reasonable, and if using a rental car, the resort is located in an easy-to-access location."

"We had an incredible time here!!! The staff was so friendly and helpful, the rooms were private and clean and had amazing kitchens and comfortable beds. We loved being able to walk straight from our room out to the beach. It was nice and calm and fun to snorkel. There are two great restaurants. Will definitely stay again!"
