"Well once I'd found the place, Hotels.com directions via linked map were incorrect and took me to the wrong location via a logging track up another mountainside some 20km away, it was lovely. Apartment was clean and modern and the views were stupendous. And the food and service at Le Petit Montagnard were beautifully authentic."

"This is a wonderful large hotel, with great pool and lakeside lounge chairs! Very helpful when arriving and departing. Close enough to town by car. Primarily to stay there. One odd complaint (not to take a star away): we had to request and iron and ironing board twice; they brought one but took it away within an hour... it was a major request for something understood as trivial in most hotels with so many starts... Thanks."

Quick to the train station, only a few minutes away and not far from the funicular (which, if you're skiing runs before the ski lifts so from the hotel you can still get first lifts onto your mountain). "Fantastic little hotel, owner / manager always on hand, Jean the receptionist is amazing, nothing is a problem. Just refurbished, food is cooked on site from scratch and you can tell. Only thing that isn’t was bread and they admitted that. All staff were excellent, great bar, ski in ski out. Pool, loads of hot water, comfy beds."
