"We stayed here for the second arm of our vacation. The pool areas were well-maintained. The landscape of biodiversity created a rainforest vibe. The lobby was open and furniture was well situated for lounging around. Clean rooms but outdated with a hint of opulence- so I was not too bothered by the old fashioned decor. The breakfast was average, and lean towards meat lovers and limited vegetarian options. There were no eggs on the buffet, so if you wanted eggs, you have to wait in line to order it. One night, we decided to dine at the buffet, but a 1 minute look at the food items, we decided to eat elsewhere. Another night we decided to get room service, but the hotel phone were inoperable so I had to walk to the lobby area to order. I order seafood rice and it was awful. Big chunks of crab shells (almost chipped a few teeth). The staff was friendly. The shuttle ride to the airport was efficient. The hotel was a bit further from the city center and not many restaurants that you can walk too."

"Loved everything until breakfast was served: limited to a banana, a slice of pineapple and 2 stale rolls. I'm a big breakfast person so this was incredibly disappointing. Everything else was beautiful. If we weren't expecting breakfast it would be an easy 5 stars."

"This property was phenomenal!! It was clean when we arrive and the housekeeping staff kept it clean everyday. The host was very responsive to questions before and during the trip. The kitchen was a nice size and the chef (Christina) was a fantastic cook! I selected 3 menus and they were all delicious. She cooked each meal twice, 6 total. The pool was clean and the heater was perfect for cool evenings. The house could’ve had 1 additional restroom downstairs, but the pool restroom came in handy. There’s also a beautiful walking trail behind the house that leads to a covered pavilion. The landscaping was immaculate and the city night view and lights were beautiful. There multiple eating areas, which offered variety - porch, near the pool, dining room. The balcony was accessible from 3 bedrooms, which was nice. In Cost Rica, be prepared for heavy traffic and extended travel time. We rented 2 vehicles for our large group.Overall, the house was amazing and the country was beautiful!!"

"Not much amenities BUT the staff is absolutely amazing!!!! I will say being charges for coffee was a complete shock but again the staff removed my coffee charges ,they truly made me feel like they had known me for ever. This is a ltgbq resort witch I didnt know at time of booking . I beet very nice people no matter there choice in life. It is very far from things to do and see,about 200.00 us dollar cost to just about any attractions.and that is each way so rental car definitely recommended. I absolutely would stay there again as I am going back for a m9nth in 4 weeks and staying there again."
