This property exceeded my expectations. Everything was clean and I liked the decor. I absolutely loved the kitchen! I was surprised and loved the attention to small details, such as the availability of toys, a sippee cup, coffee, cookies/cake, ice, spices, plastic wrap, ect. The app was easy to use for checking in and out and opening the door. All staff members provided outstanding service. Special recognition to Alexander from Serbia. We had a fantastic stay! I also loved that this property is close to the market and train station.

Great concept for family and friends - common kitchen is spotless and missing nothing. Room are large, clean and with good furniture. Location is great next to the train station and above next to the free bus stop leading to the slopes départures in less than 5 mins

Poor room
Room was dusty, the mattresses were terrible, we couldn't sleep for the two nights we were there. Bad experience unfortunately. Staff at the desk was friendly though!

Great hostel
This was one of the nicest hostels I have stayed in. The room was large, modern, nicely decorated and clean. There were enough showers and toilets in the room for everyone. Also a big fan of curtains on the beds for some privacy. The hosts were very helpful.

Great location. No room temperature control, room way to hot to sleep in. Opening window let even more noise in from local bar on the street plus car noise.

The room was rather small for 3 people, but it was very practical, neat and clean. The staff is super friendly and very accommodating. Great location in Engelberg.

Great location and really liked the minimalistic room. Just beds and bathroom so if you are looking for TV, etc... the room we were in is not it. The staff was excellent and helpful.

Great place and friendly staff
Great practical place right in the middle of Engelberg. Walking distance from all amenities in town. The room was really clean and simple. Lots of power sockets and even USB ports to charge your devices. What a great touch! John, the gentleman who checked us in was really friendly and polite. Breakfast was good, just ideal. You wouldn’t need more than what is allocated to you. Everywhere is clean, tidy and neat. Bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again and would certainly recommend it.

Paper-thin walls and patchy service; good location
The paper-thin walls made for a somewhat unpleasant stay. Our neighbours weren't being overly loud, but we could still hear every conversation, every laugh, every song. When we returned from skiing to collect our things from storage and take the train to Zurich, we had to ask the cafe staff twice and wait 10 minutes before they opened the door for us. In the grand scheme of things, these are minor inconveniences, but still made us question whether we would stay again. The location across the street from the train station is very convenient and the hotel has a good set-up for groups of friends.

Wonderful hotel with nice facilities raised to Swiss high levels by the lovely people managing this place: Everyone from the person we met first at reception to the kitchen staff were amazing. Our room as well as the entire hotel was extremely clean and tidy. Perfect location - rite next to the train station, free shuttle bus stop and Mt.Titlis base station. Only thing they might want to rework on is the breakfast spread. Options were limited and very basic.

Nice hotel.
Great place to stay with really helpful staff, the only down side is that the kitchen area is not presently separated from the lounge area so guests cannot use the lounge after 9pm which is a shame as its a great area to chill out.

Nice stay for quick overnighter
Spannort Inn was a perfect place to stay for a quick overnight visit. Nice Scandinavian style and very clean.

Nice hotel close to mountain we wanted to visit
The only negative is that the room did not even have a chair. We went to sit downstairs in a common room and they told us we could not bring a bottle of water in because we had to buy it there. Found that to be a bit much

The environment and distance to several "touristic" activities made it a sweet spot. The train leaves Engelberg to Lutern every hour (13:02 / 14:02 etc..) Going up by cablecar to Titlis was awesome (Go early 8 O'clock) to beat the busses filled with tourists (lol). Everything is to an extend automated so you dont see much of the staffmembers. But communicating by app. And help screen in/outside hotel helps alot. Other then a thermometer telling how cold the fridge/refridgerator is (we) I cannot think of any negative things. Would return here without a thought.

Very nice place witch fresh rooms and comfortable beds. The staff was good and helpful. Location was really good aswell. Breakfust is available to order in advance. There is no desk where you can find staff or where you check in. You acually have do download an app. In the app you get a password wich you get in with through all the doors. This worked really well and it was nice to not have any physsical keys but might be annoying to some.

Einfach top! Tolle Einrichtung und Zimmer, freundliches Personal, Lage direkt im Zentrum und neben der Bushaltestelle und vor allem eine fantastische Gemeinschaftsküche mit eigenem Kühlschrank und Essensfach. Als Familie haben wir uns rundum wohl gefühlt.
