Breakfast is great, lots of hot and cold dishes. Staff were kind and helpful. Spacious, clean room with powerful air conditioning.
In terms of the area, one way (Old Town Toronto, towards the St Lawrence Market) is very interesting with tons of activities and sights. The other way, north on Jarvis St (and basically across Jarvis St from the hotel) appears to be a very rough neighbourhood with lots of homelessness. Plan accordingly when you step outside to see Toronto.
Other minor issues:
-lobby was extremely hot and stuffy (in August)
-shower was slow to drain
Overall, I recommend this property and I would stay here again.
