"Perfect house and excellent location for accessing the Mt. Rogers NRA trails and gravel bike network. The beds were comfortable, living space larger than it looks in pictures, and everything was clean. I loved the grounds as well, and it was super quiet all the time. A variety of birds fluttered above soft grass and fields of. . . something. Idyllic!"

"Overall a good option for the price if you need to stop in for the night on a long road trip. Quiet and safe and scenic little town with some local and chain food options nearby. The room itself was clean and you can tell they spend a lot of time keeping things clean. There is a mold/mildew scent in the room and the AC probably needs to be checked/professionally cleaned out. The most unfortunate thing was that the towels had black and brown stains and they should just replace them instead of reusing them for new guests. Overall a positive experience."

"We last stayed here when it was Troys Cabin and the property was owned by another couple. We decided to try it again because we had lovely memories of our times spent there. We had a relaxing time again but found the alarm instructions very confusing. We never did get the code to unlock the front door but somehow managed to get the code to unlock the physical door key to work after multiple tries. We also were not pleased to see the trash left at the front entrances. It remained that way for the entire four days we were there and it took away from the appeal of the cabins immensely. The outdoor fire rings were full of burned trash and foil which also took away from the outdoor appeal. We have never encountered such a trashy look at the nearby cabin we've stayed at the last few years. Inside the cabin was spotless and clean. Just wish the same detail had been applied to the outdoors. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and loved revisiting old memories despite some slight disappointment. We may give it another go in the future. Suggestion: Think about putting a mini washer/dryer combination in the cabin, not just a washer."
